Recently, Queen Elizabeth ruled that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had to stop using the term “royal” in their new brand immediately. It’s not a secret that Meghan and her father, Thomas Markle don’t exactly get along. He’s very opinionated when it comes to his estranged daughter and has opened up about this issue as well. Thomas Markle Asked About Royal Brand Conflict – According to TMZ, Thomas was spotted at a Rosarito, Mexico Office Depot. He was asked if Harry and Meghan had a right to use the term royal as part of their new brand. Well, he had plenty to say about it and added that the couple has no right to speak to Queen Elizabeth the way they have.
Not Surprised With Meghan Markle- Thomas explained that while they have no right, he isn’t surprised either. Not only does he think that Meghan has disrespected Queen Elizabeth, he feels that she is disrespecting British people as a whole. Although he expressed his opinion regarding Meghan, he also indicated that it was no surprise to him. He implied that it was just Meghan’s MO.
Sussex Royal Brand – As previously reported, Harry and Meghan were working on developing the Sussex Royal brand. They spent tons of money on website design and were preparing to register the trademark globally. However, their plans went up in smoke when Queen Elizabeth banned the couple from using the term “royal.” The reasoning is that they technically are no longer royals since “Megxit.”
Strained Father/Daughter Relationship – Not only does Meghan have issues with her estranged father, but with the Royal Family as well. There always seems to be some sort of issue and she is always the victim. At first, it seemed like maybe she had a point and was being treated unfairly. However, as time goes on, the public is beginning to see more of who Meghan really is and it doesn’t paint a pretty picture.
Disrespecting Queen Elizabeth – There is also a popular opinion that while the couple agreed to stop using the term “royal,” they made a pretty bold statement on their website. A lot of people feel it was blatantly disrespectful to Queen Elizabeth. While it’s understandable that Harry wants to stand by his wife, shouldn’t he draw a line somewhere?
