In tonight’s 7 Little Johnstons episode, the whole family goes to Atlanta to rock climb. Alex fears heights while Emma wants to work on her agility. Trent and Amber just want to motivate Jonah to get up and out of the house. Alex tries it. He doesn’t get too high but he gives it a chance.
The next day, Emma works on lanyards for her cheer squad. It’s a rainy day. Amber sits with her. They discuss how she will be trying out once again after taking some time off for school work. She is scared however because she needs to do some backhand springs. Amber gives her a pep talk. Emma manages to do several in a row. Amber even gets gusty and does some cartwheels.
Ashley, Jonah’s girlfriend, comes for a visit. Her parents also arrive to spend some time talking with Trent and Amber. They discuss Jonah and how he needs a full-time job. He also needs to move out soon. He has been working on a podcast with friends but it will be a while before he can make any money if possible.
Emma attends a special tumble class. Her coach believes this will help with cheer. Emma has some fears she will get hurt. She knows she needs to push herself so she can make the team. Meanwhile, Jonah has Ashley and Logan, his best friend, over for drinks. They talk about Jonah and his timeline to move out. He doesn’t know if he will move to stay around the area or move near Ashley. She will support him whatever he decides
Trent and Amber help Emma use a leaf blower to blow a roll of toilet paper at Alex. They laugh when they surprise him in his room. Alex thinks he could do better when the toilet paper cannon gets stuck. He gets involved. They all have fun.
Later, Emma gets the whole family in on a toilet paper challenge. They run around the house collecting rolls. They plan to make a record-breaking toilet paper tower.
Jonah comes home to tell Amber and Trent you got a full-time job selling cars. They are happy about the offer but worried about sales and commission. Jonah talks about driving with his extensions. Amber tells him not to make it part of the conversation. Just get in the car and drive. Trent agrees. They are proud of them.
Amber and Trent get into bed for the night and discuss Jonah and his job. He seems excited and now they are too. It wasn’t exactly the job they hoped he would get but it’s a job.
Emma and Amber go outside with her mat to see how she does with backflips. Emma is having trouble trusting her mom. She is nervous she has her as a spotter. She ends up kicking Amber in the face by accident. In the end, Emma did her best and instead of competitive cheer she still plans to go out for spirit cheer. After, they throw the cheese mat in the pool. Emma jumps in after. They laugh.
