Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will hide Sarah Horton’s (last played by Linsey Godfrey) island captivity from Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Gwen will commit the worst possible betrayal following Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) bombshell, so here’s what DOOL fans can expect.
You’d think Gwen would’ve learned her lesson by now since she just blew up her relationship with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) over a secret.
Gwen had the perfect opportunity to come clean back when she admitted Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) didn’t push her down the stairs.
That’s when Gwen should’ve confessed the miscarriage happened in her hotel room beforehand. Jack would’ve forgiven Gwen and everyone could’ve moved on, but Gwen let the lie spiral out of control until it finally exploded.
Now Jack has turned his back on Gwen, which leaves Xander as the one person in Gwen’s life who truly cares about her.
Unfortunately, Gwen will worry Xander’s going to disappear on her, too – at least if he finds out what Kristen has been keeping under wraps.
During the week of November 15-19, Days spoilers say Kristen will deliver the Sarah island shocker to Gwen.
Kristen will realize Gwen cares deeply for Xander, who might drop Gwen like a hot potato if Sarah were back in the picture. Since Gwen wants to keep her boyfriend, Kristen will demand escape help in exchange for her silence.
Gwen will get an assist from Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) on this, but we want to focus on Gwen’s actions and the consequences.
It’s obvious Gwen will go to great lengths to keep Sarah on that island far, far away from Salem. Gwen will selfishly choose to let Sarah suffer while she enjoys her own happily ever after with Xander.
Of course, Days is setting up another situation where this happy little bubble of Gwen’s is going to burst. Gwen is once again giving herself a secret that’ll weigh on her and leave her fearing Xander’s going to find out – for more reasons than one!
On top of just having to worry about the competition, Gwen will know Xander might never forgive her for letting Sarah remain trapped and alone.
Gwen’s the one who may end up alone instead since she’s betraying the loyal guy she can always count on.
