Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) may cheat after some Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) devil danger pushes the pair together. Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) may get betrayed under the craziest of circumstances, so let’s consider how this might play out.
Now that the devil has taken over Marlena’s body, the Marlena we know and love isn’t in control anymore. That means Marlena’s behavior is going to get extremely wild in the coming months.
Johnny was essentially the catalyst for this storyline since his filmmaking pursuit led to him requesting the Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) story script, which contained the details of Marlena’s possession.
That gave Days the perfect setup for this possession story reboot and will keep Johnny involved in the devil drama.
Allie was concerned about the possession shocker, especially once she found out it was true.
This isn’t something Allie thinks Johnny should be messing with, so her fears should lead to trouble. The fact that Allie’s so worried could be a hint that she’ll land in grave danger – and Chanel may land in it with her!
While discussing The Exorcist, Johnny jokingly assured Chanel he’d make sure the devil didn’t get her.
That’s a promise Johnny may not be able to keep, but perhaps Allie and Chanel can try to protect each other.
There’s certainly more to explore when it comes to Chanel and Allie’s feelings for each other, so Days may use this storyline to let sparks fly. It’s easy to imagine Allie being targeted as Marlena’s granddaughter.
Johnny’s grandson status could make him a target as well – and so could the possession featured in this movie if the devil doesn’t offer full approval.
There’s bound to be peril swirling all around Allie and Chanel, so maybe Days could trap them together at some point.
Allie might figure out what’s up with possessed Grandma Marlena and try to sound the alarm – only to be thrown in captivity.
Chanel could end up there too based on Johnny’s clue, which implied the devil would indeed go after her in some way.
Allie and Chanel’s next chapter will be a messy one, so they may betray Tripp and Johnny with a kiss or perhaps more. As other DOOL news comes in, we’ll bring you more updates.
