Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) could find herself in Tripp Dalton’s (Lucas Adams) shoes soon enough. DOOL fans know Allie felt certain Tripp was the one who assaulted her, but the memory floodgates opened during her hypnosis session.
Allie finally realized she was wrong – that Tripp had been innocent the entire time just as he claimed.
Of course, Allie had what seemed to be solid proof to back her up. Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) is a respected doctor in Salem – and in her expert medical opinion, Tripp appeared to be the father of Allie’s baby.
Based on the shared DNA, all signs pointed to Tripp. Why would Allie believe any different if she didn’t know about Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) existence?
It’s unfair to make Allie out to be some sort of accusatory monster when she’s the real victim of this rape story, not Tripp or anyone else. Allie suffered a traumatic ordeal thanks to Charlie’s actions in London. In fact, Allie blocked it out because her assault was so horrible.
Unfortunately, Allie could become a victim once again – albeit in a different way. Days of Our Lives spoilers say a murder mystery is coming up this February, so it seems incredibly likely Charlie will become the corpse.
All of the soapy clues and leaks say that Charlie will turn up dead and leave a trail of suspects a mile long behind the body!
Naturally, Days spoilers suggest Allie may land on that suspect list. It’s doubtful Allie will actually be to blame for Charlie’s murder, but she may be accused of it. There might even be some evidence that points in Allie’s direction and leads to her potential arrest.
That brings us to how Allie might end up seeing Tripp’s perspective. Allie may repeatedly insist she’s innocent while others push her to come clean. After all, Allie grabbed a gun and threatened to shoot Tripp down south when she thought he was guilty.
We’ve seen that Allie can be vengeful – and that was before Allie even had access to her full memories.
Now that Allie has remembered the entirety of her London horror, the cops might ultimately suspect Allie snapped and killed Charlie for being her real attacker. Perhaps Tripp could decide he believes Allie, even though she didn’t believe in him. Tripp might work to get Allie off the hook for Charlie’s murder.
Then again, maybe someone like Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) could step up to clear her daughter’s name! Regardless, Allie should become an easy suspect if Charlie is at the center of the whodunit – and we fully expect he will be.
