Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Claire Secretly Records Charlie's Confession - Comes Back To Bite After Culprit's Murder?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) will soon take matters into her own hands. As viewers are aware, Claire was absolutely horrified when Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) remembered that her attacker was none other than Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning).

Claire has been keeping her distance from Charlie, and she’s been content to let the system handle him. Well, soon, Claire is going to get some very unhappy news – that Charlie has walked on the rape charges against him.

As it will turn out, the London authorities won’t think they have enough evidence to pursue a case against Charlie, but Claire will still hope that that Charlie will at least go down for kidnapping and drugging his mother Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).

But unfortunately, it seems that Charlie might end up going free on all the charges against him.

Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Claire will be furious when Belle Black (Martha Madison) informs her that Charlie may get away with his crimes. That will lead Claire to take matters into her own hands and try to get justice of her own.

It remains to be seen exactly what Claire’s going to do, but Days of Our Lives spoilers are clear that she’s going to lure Charlie into some sort of trap. Claire will call Charlie, perhaps inviting him to a private meeting with her to talk.

That will probably make Charlie think that Claire is willing to discuss a possible future for them, but Claire will have other plans in mind.

It looks like Claire may try to trick Charlie into admitting that he was the person who raped Allie while she secretly tape records the whole conversation.

That would mesh with other Days of Our Lives spoilers saying that Charlie will subsequently flip out on Claire, which would make sense if he finds out that Claire was recording him.

But Claire’s plans to catch Charlie in a confession could come back to haunt her. It’s certainly looking like Charlie is going to be murdered soon, with a full-fledged whodunnit coming. Depending on what goes down on the recording that Claire makes, it could be something that’s held against her later.

For example, if Claire gets angry or threatens Charlie on the recording, then that could come back to bite later. Prosecutors could use it against Claire to argue that she wanted revenge on Charlie and that she harbored a lot of anger toward him.

And if Claire does get Charlie to admit that he was the rapist on the recording, prosecutors could argue that this angered Claire enough to kill!

We’ll see what happens here, but something tells us that Claire’s recording might end up being more of a liability for Claire than as a vehicle to prove that Charlie is guilty of his crimes.

Do you think that Claire’s efforts will ultimately backfire? Stay tuned to Days of Our Lives and we’ll be sure to keep you up on the latest soap spoilers, updates, and news.
