Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) may be the one to expose Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) one-night stand. Will EJ unleash Ava’s reign of terror with this cheating revelation?
DOOL fans know EJ’s in the loop on Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) helping Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) escape, and he wanted Ava to know he was privy to that information. However, EJ had no interest in exposing that alliance since he owes Kristen and didn’t want Rafe to steal Nicole away.
EJ also had a flashback of Nicole confessing her conference table hookup with Rafe, so that’s another secret he’s keeping under wraps. Right now, EJ has a motive to keep quiet and protect his own shot with Nicole, but things are about to change.
During the week of December 20-24, Days spoilers say Sami will finally get her wish. Of course, what Sami’s wishing for is a reunion with EJ, so it sounds like they may get back together just in time for Christmas.
At that point, Days spoilers suggest EJ will have no interest in hiding Nicole’s one-night stand with Rafe.
EJ won’t have to protect his chance with Nicole, so he might try to help her out by exposing the shocker and ruining Rafe’s current romance.
EJ would probably like the idea of causing a little short-term turmoil for Rafe since he hates the guy with a passion. At the same time, EJ realizes Nicole has deep feelings for Rafe that she can’t seem to shake.
In EJ’s mind, he might think he’s doing Nicole a favor by revealing the truth and turning Ava against Rafe – effectively giving Nicole the man she truly wants.
Naturally, it’s also possible the situation will change between now and then.
EJ might have more vengeful motives when comes clean, but he does make the most sense as someone who might spill the secret.
There’s surely a reason Nicole put this bombshell in EJ’s hands, so it’ll be interesting to see how he blows it up. We’ll bring updates as other Days details emerge.
