Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Friday, March 26 Recap – Nicole Pushes Ava for Murder Truth - Charlie's Killer On The Loose

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, March 26, reveals that Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) explained that all her credit cards had been canceled and that the salesclerk cut them up right in front of her. Chanel argued that it was humiliating, but Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) didn’t feel sorry for her.

After Chanel’s credit card incident, she found out Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) went to see a couple babies in some random little town. Chanel complained about how she had to drive because she couldn’t pay for a plane ticket.

Paulina eventually took care of the check for Claire and Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), so Chanel argued that all’s well that ends well. She suggested it was still fun hanging with Tripp and Claire, but Claire told her to treasure the memory because it wouldn’t be happening again.

Afterward, Chanel formally met Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) as Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) husband. When she found out Paulina came to see Lani and Eli’s twins, Chanel made a comment about their good-looking daddy.

Eli seemed flattered, but Paulina wanted to get Chanel back to the hotel before she made a fool of herself.

Once Chanel found out that Paulina offered to pay for the twins’ college education, she blew her top. Since Paulina cut Chanel off financially, Chanel was upset about her mom being willing to pay so much for two babies she didn’t even know.

Paulina argued that they were only just born, so she intended to get to know them.

Paulina went on a rant about all the things Chanel had been given: from sports cars to ski trips to designer clothes and everything in between.

Chanel never even said thank you, so Paulina felt like that was something her daughter needed to learn.

After Paulina stormed off, Chanel went after her and found her back in the suite. She figured Paulina hated her, but Paulina insisted she loved her daughter more than anything.

However, Paulina felt changes needed to be made and insisted Chanel should go back to Miami and get a job. Chanel argued that she didn’t even have money for gas, so she’d be staying put right there in Salem.

Lani and Eli wound up back home, where they agreed there was such a thing as too much money. They agreed that Chanel had a flair for the dramatic. Eli felt Paulina would set Chanel straight, but Lani thought Chanel was awfully entitled and worried it might be too late.

Outside the pub on Friday’s DOOL episode, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) talked to Abe Carver (James Reynolds) about the christening as well as all the godmother drama.

Abe mentioned Paulina’s extravagant gift and the fact that Paulina was after the Gabi Chic building lease in the town square.

John guessed Paulina would be sticking around for a while and was eager to meet Paulina since she sounded like quite a lady. Abe felt certain Paulina would become quite a presence in Salem.

At Nicole Brady’s (Arianne Zucker) place, she learned from Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) was innocent. Nicole realized the true killer was still out there.

Days of Our Lives showed a flashback of Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) telling Nicole she brought Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) in this world, so maybe she should take him out. Nicole rushed off claiming she had errands to run, so Allie wondered what that was about.

At Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) place, he came home for lunch and was impressed by Ava’s homemade sauce. Ava admitted she was trying to butter Rafe up since she needed a favor.

After Ava mentioned Charlie’s murder investigation, Rafe reminded Ava that he couldn’t talk about the details of the case.

Ava understood, but she admitted she needed to stay at Rafe’s place for longer than she planned. Now that Ava was cut off from all the mob money, she didn’t have anywhere else to go. Ava stammered about how she would try to find a job starting this afternoon, but Rafe wanted her to relax.

There was plenty of room, especially now that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) had moved out. Rafe liked having someone there to cook for him, so he shared a nice moment with Ava before getting called down to the station.

Rafe said they’d have to turn lunch into dinner later and took off, but Ava gazed toward the door looking a tad smitten after he was gone.

Next on Friday’s Days episode, Nicole showed up and agreed to have lunch with Ava. After Nicole explained that Sami wasn’t guilty, Ava noted that the killer was still out there.

Nicole suggested the real killer could be somewhere having lunch in the kitchen right now. Ava wondered what exactly Nicole was accusing her of, but Nicole insisted she wasn’t making accusations. That said, Nicole assured Ava of their friendship and argued that Ava could tell her anything.

Nicole wanted to know if Ava killed Charlie – and after a flashback of Ava going inside Charlie’s apartment that night, Ava told Nicole “of course not.” At the Salem PD, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) told Sami that Allie only took the gun to Charlie’s place.

Allie didn’t actually kill him, so Sami hoped to clear things up with Rafe.

Unfortunately, Rafe wasn’t happy about this new story that involved Allie basically covering for Sami while Sami covered for Allie. He felt like the DA, judge and jury would have a hard time buying it.

When pressed, Rafe admitted he did believe Sami now – but it was out of his hands. He’d have to go to DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) and try to talk her into dropping the murder charges.

When Rafe returned later, he admitted DA Trask refused to throw out an un-coerced confession. Sami was disappointed to learn she was still facing murder charges.

Once Tripp and Claire stopped by to see Allie, they talked about Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) briefly. Allie could tell Claire and Tripp had been partying, but they brushed past that and wanted to talk about Sami.

Allie insisted that Sami was innocent and explained why, so Claire acknowledged that the killer was still on the loose – and that there were tons of suspects. After Allie suggested it was just a matter of finding the right one, Tripp sat in silence with a guilty expression.
