Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a DNA test is on the way. For months, DOOL’s been focused on the subject of Henry Horton’s (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) DNA, but there’s a new paternity mystery to explore.
Is Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) really Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) biological father?
Jack brought up the idea of a paternity test during his latest faceoff with Gwen, but he guessed maybe she wouldn’t even consent to one. Jack doubted he’d ever be able to prove anything to Gwen, who’s convinced that Jack knew of her existence and intentionally allowed her to live a miserable life.
Gwen mentioned how DNA tests in Salem couldn’t be trusted, but she’ll agree to one soon anyway. During the week of February 1-5, the results will be in. Will those results prove Gwen’s claims?
That’s a tricky question to answer based on the latest Days of Our Lives spoilers.
New info confirms that Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) will return to Salem with a stunning secret to share. Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain), Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and Jack will all reel over what Laura divulges.
Laura will know whether Gwen’s version of events is true, so that seemingly means she either paid off Gwen’s mom or at least knows who did.
Other Days spoilers say Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will cover for his wife. He’ll hide something Abigail did or fib for her somehow, so it’s possible the results won’t be legit.
After all the tormenting Gwen’s done, we wouldn’t blame Abigail for tampering with the results and making it seem like Tiffany Rizczech lied to her daughter. Abigail would like to avoid having Gwen for a sister if at all possible.
Then again, Chad might have to cover for Abigail on another matter entirely. It all depends on where Days of Our Lives’ writers want to go with the story next.
Whatever the case, Gwen was truly led to believe Jack was her father – and Tiffany was sent checks that Laura was either behind or knew about.
Whether the DNA results confirm it or have been tampered with so they don’t, there’s a good chance Jack is indeed Gwen’s bio dad as she claims. We’ll bring you updates as other DOOL news pops up.
