Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that some fans are wondering if Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is still Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) best match. Does Ben’s romance with Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) deserve a real chance instead?
Of course, there are certainly some fans out there who are on Team CIN all the way. DOOL has spent a lot of time and effort building Ben and Ciara up as soulmates, so some viewers intend to stand by them no matter what.
Ciara and Ben will indeed reunite down the road, but there’s no guarantee that reunion will last forever. Things are always going to be a bit up in the air since Victoria Konefal isn’t on contract.
That’s left some fans irritated over the instability and breaks for this couple. In fact, it’s caused some viewers to feel like Ben and Claire should be given a fair shot at being paired up. Claire could be a steady love interest for Ben if Days writers would let her be one.
Even great supercouples like John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) have been with other people. That doesn’t diminish Marlena and John’s love for each other at all.
It just means their connection was so powerful that they kept coming back together again and again – no matter who or what tried to stop them.
In other words, it’s entirely possible to root for Ben and Ciara while acknowledging that a new Claire romance might be an interesting obstacle. Claire and Ben may not be endgame, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a story worth pursuing for a while.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Claire will initiate a kiss on May 20, but Ben will ultimately pull back and leave Claire apologetic. These two will decide to focus on friendship in the aftermath, but that could change sooner or later.
You never know what direction Days might head in due to Konefal’s sporadic stints and the show’s desire to hold off on recasting Ciara as long as possible. Perhaps Ben and Claire could still have an opportunity to find love.
There’s no denying that Ben is drawn to Claire and has a lot in common with her.
