Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will look forward to what the future holds with Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). DOOL fans know Jake and Kate faced a little hiccup when it was time to go public.
Jake was worried about Kate being embarrassed of him, but Kate was actually embarrassed of being a “cougar” and how this age gap might be perceived.
However, Kate’s willing to work through her insecurities – and Jake certainly doesn’t mind being quite a bit younger than Kate. He thinks Kate’s as beautiful as ever and can’t wait to keep building this relationship.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Days if they didn’t throw another curveball at them, so Jake and Kate had better brace for Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Camila Banus) long-awaited return!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will be back during the week of January 18-22 – and she’ll make it crystal clear that she’s going to reunite with Jake. Gabi won’t be backing down from the fight this time around.
Jake will contend that he’s in a real romance with Kate and has no intention of bailing on her, but Gabi won’t care what Jake thinks he wants.
It turns out Kate will catch Jake and Gabi in a steamy moment that looks somewhat scandalous. That could leave Jake desperate to explain and make sure Kate knows she’s the only woman he wants.
As Gabi continues to stir the pot, Kate will inevitably battle more doubts and concerns. This could cause some serious strain between Jake and Kate – much to Jake’s dismay!
If Jake feels he’s on the verge of losing Kate because of Gabi, could he make a bold move to keep her? Will Jake propose and leave Gabi reeling over a wedding shocker?
That’d be a surefire way to rile Gabi up even more and boost her determination. It could also make Kate see that she doesn’t want to take that step with Jake.
It’s easy to imagine Kate rejecting Jake’s proposal and dumping him instead. One way or another, Jake and Kate’s relationship is going to end in heartbreak. It’s just a matter of how it all comes crashing down.
A marriage proposal seems reasonable since Jake’s so committed to Kate and will want a strategy to fight off the sparks he’s feeling with Gabi. Will Jake get down on one knee and ask Kate to marry him? Will Gabi flip out once Jake pushes for a new Days wedding?
