Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will head off on a Zurich adventure. This trip will be tied to a dangerous ISA mission – and it’ll all be featured on a new limited series called Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem. Let’s talk about this five-episode event, which fans will be able to see on NBC’s Peacock streaming service.
Marlena and John have mostly been involved in family drama lately – and there’s been plenty of it due to Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) penchant for stirring up trouble.
However, John and Marlena are also known for their grand adventures. It looks like an old-school DOOL escapade is brewing, so this should feel like a blast from the past.
Marlena will join John as he travels to Zurich, Switzerland, so they’ll be a long way from Salem.
That’s where Carrie Brady (Christie Clark) lives, so it sounds like a visit’s coming up with Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Anna DiMera’s (Leann Hunley) daughter.
Assuming that Carrie and Austin Reed (Austin Peck) are still together, John and Marlena should catch up with their whole fam.
Nevertheless, Zurich should also be the location for some risky business and potentially some grave danger.
This miniseries will center around Billie Reed’s (Lisa Rinna) assignment as an ISA agent. Billie will be on the hunt for some stolen jewels, so she may need John and Marlena’s help tracking them down.
Marlena and John have been known to land in some tight spots, particularly after traveling out of the country.
Fortunately, they always find a way to wiggle out of their jams sooner or later. If a dangerous situation does arise, John will no doubt protect Marlena – and she’ll do the same for him!
This limited series will feature plenty of other characters and surprising destinations like New Orleans, Miami, Phoenix and more.
Days spoilers say the missing gems will intertwine multiple stories as Billie works to accomplish her goal.
