Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that viewers were in for a shocker when Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) turned up dead in Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) hotel room. This occurred after Gwen threatened Laura, first to Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), and then to Laura herself.
Of course, as Days of Our Lives viewers know, Gwen was irate with Laura for ruining her life and paying off her mother Tiffany Rizczech all those years ago.
Well, for may DOOL viewers, it was an unforgivable move to kill off an important legacy character like Laura in this fashion.
Sure, Laura hasn’t been on the show regularly for many years, but after all this is Laura Horton, and she had just been lambasted by Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and shunned by her daughter Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain).
It just seemed pretty sudden and cruel to kill off Laura in the way that it went down.
But given that this is Days of Our Lives and people come back from the dead seemingly all the time, we have to wonder if Laura is actually going to stay dead.
Sure, it would seem farfetched to think Laura’s body could lay there on the floor for hours, get carted off to the morgue, and then be brought back to life somehow, but again…this is Days of Our Lives.
And just because Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) is in prison right now and unable to administer his special “back from the dead” serum to Laura’s body doesn’t mean that it can’t still happen.
After all, Rolf surely has minions out there doing his bidding. Days of Our Lives viewers will remember that Vincent Bellman (Michael Teh) was one of Rolf’s proteges, so it’s quite likely that Rolf has other operatives out there somewhere.
What if one of Rolf’s operatives made his or her way to the hospital morgue and injected Laura with the serum that would bring her back from the dead?
That could mean that we might see Laura back in action on the show in relatively quick order, or that she could turn up again in several months or years.
It’s all within the realm of possibility on Days of Our Lives, and it would be one means for Laura to come back down the road…perhaps even to exact her revenge on Gwen!
We’ll see what happens here, but one thing seems certain – when someone dies on Days of Our Lives, they may not really be gone!
