Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) seems poised to set a dangerous fire and leave Salem in flames after the devil delivers disturbing orders. Let’s talk about what’s coming up in DOOL’s shocking possession story reboot.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) recapped what went down back in the ‘90s possession story during his recent conversation with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).
That conversation included talk about Marlena setting a church on fire as well as setting the Salem Christmas free on fire.
Of course, longtime viewers will remember those fiery shockers. If the show’s going to revisit this iconic storyline, they’re surely going to do it up right.
That means doing new spins on some classic moments – like the famous levitating scene, which was featured in the old story and is confirmed to be in the new one.
DOOL’s fall preview offers a little glimpse of that levitating bombshell, but we want to focus on this fire angle.
If they’re going to revisit possessed Marlena’s levitation, it makes sense that she’ll also set the town ablaze in some way.
The devil will inevitably Marlena to do some of the same things she did before.
There are some great options here since Marlena could set fire to St. Luke’s or another church – maybe even the one where Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price’s (Jackee Harry) wedding will be held.
Naturally, setting the Salem Christmas tree on fire again is a good possibility as well, especially since we know there’s indeed some sinister stuff happening around the holidays.
Days spoilers say Marlena won’t be able to control her actions, so the devil will wreak havoc on Salem in the months ahead.
It’s reasonable to assume some fires will be part of the chaos, so there’ll be some stunning episodes as Marlena heads down this risky path.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say possessed Marlena will commit several major crimes and leave Salem in jeopardy!
