Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will want murdered Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) in an early grave. Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) will panic as the devil seeks full deadly control and puts Julie’s life at stake.
DOOL fans know Marlena hasn’t fully given herself over to the devil’s powers yet. That’s why Marlena was able to fight back and resist hurting Doug in his hospital bed.
Of course, it helped that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) ultimately came in and interrupted the smothering attempt, but it was still a close call.
Marlena’s strength is fading fast, so Days spoilers say Doug will grow increasingly worried.
Julie has already been puzzled over Doug’s attempts to warn her about Marlena. Julie assumes Doug is just confused, but Doug may convince her otherwise over time.
Julie couldn’t help but be suspicious when Marlena just stood there after Doug’s collapse.
Marlena was in a daze and just didn’t act like she normally would in that sort of crisis, so it’s easy to see why Julie was caught off guard.
There’ll inevitably be more clues for Julie to pick up on over time.
Doug will ultimately convey to John Black (Drake Hogestyn) that Marlena wants him dead, so John may share Doug’s troubling comments with Julie.
Although Julie should blame Doug’s diminished mental state again, she could come awfully close to figuring out the devil is inside Marlena with an agenda.
That would explain why Marlena will set out to harm Julie during the week of October 4-8 – and try to get rid of her once and for all!
Days spoilers say Doug will frantically try to stop that from happening.
Doug’s agitation will intensify as the devil works to totally control Marlena’s mind and body. Sadly, the devil will emerge victorious for a while. After another round of tormenting, all traces of the real Marlena will be wiped out.
Marlena will be completely under the devil’s control at that point, so Julie and many others in Salem will have fatal targets on their backs.
DOOL viewers will see Marlena carry out even more destructive plans and sink deeper into this sinister pit of doom!
