Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Monday, May 24 Recap – Jordan Taunts Ben for Cheating on Ciara - Claire's Panic Attack Tricks Jan

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, May 24, reveals that Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) faked a panic attack to trick Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) while Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Stause) taunted Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) for cheating on Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal). Here’s how it all went down on Monday’s drama-filled show!

At home, Claire was stunned as Jan held her at gunpoint and ranted about Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) trying to trick her into confessing. Jan ultimately launched the story of how she woke up a couple weeks before everyone thought and snuck out of the hospital.

Jan was outside the window when Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) nearly attacked Claire and overheard Belle Brady (Martha Madison) threaten to kill him. That gave Jan the idea to murder Charlie and frame Belle for it, so she slipped in and stole Belle’s coat.

After heading to Charlie’s apartment, Jan was prepared to stab him in his bed when she saw the gun sitting there. Jan snatched up the weapon and cornered Charlie with it when he appeared.

Charlie tried to talk his way out of trouble, but Jan insisted this was for Claire, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), herself and anyone else who had ever been a victim of men like him.

Jan declared that Charlie wouldn’t get away with what he did before firing a shot to his chest. He went “down like a sack of potatoes” according to Jan.

Moments later, Jan heard who she eventually found out was John Black (Drake Hogestyn) in the hall. She heard Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) bang on the door next – and Charlie was weakly trying to call for help on the floor.

Jan thought about firing another bullet to kill Charlie, but she didn’t think he deserved to be put out of his misery. Once Jan left the gun, ripped off a button and threw it down, she returned to Belle’s place and put the coat back right where she left it.

Jan then tucked herself back in her hospital bed to give herself the perfect cover.

Jan griped about the Salem PD arresting Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and looking at so many other suspects. She decided she had to move ahead with pretending to wake up so she could steer those “idiot cops” in Belle’s direction.

Claire processed Jan’s news and wondered what Jan would do to her now that she’d confessed. “You’ll see,” Jan said cryptically.

At Ben’s apartment, he was taken aback to see a vision of Jordan in the room. Jordan explained that she was Ben’s guilty conscience and brought up the fact that he was cheating on Ciara.

Ben denied it and pointed out that Claire was the one who kissed him, but Jordan argued that he was passing blame as usual. She went on a tirade about how she predicted the failure of Ben’s marriage and how marrying Ciara was the most selfish thing in the history of selfish.

Jordan argued that Ben had found comfort with the one person who set Ciara on fire a couple times!

As Jordan offered Ben a pen, she suggested he could just sign the divorce papers and then he wouldn’t have to feel guilty anymore. Back with Claire, she pretended to hyperventilate like she was having a panic attack and begged for water.

Jan warned this better not be a trick before turning her back to get Claire’s water bottle.

Claire used the opportunity to call Ben, so Jordan guessed that was Ben’s new girlfriend hoping to finish what they started. She pushed Ben to answer it, but he ignored the call as Jordan kept pushing him to sign the divorce papers.

Ben took the pen and threw it before insisting that he wasn’t “signing these damn papers.” He told Jordan there wasn’t a thing she could do to change his mind.

Once Jordan disappeared on Monday’s Days episode, Ben checked his voicemail and was surprised to see that Claire’s lasted 11 minutes. He listened to Claire begging Jan to put the gun down and let her go, so he knew she was in trouble.

Ben ran out the door and wound up back at Claire’s place, where he saw signs of a struggle. “Claire, what the hell did she do to you?” Ben wondered aloud. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben’s search for Claire will bring some twists and turns, so stay tuned to DOOL!

As for Belle on Monday’s Days episode, she ran into Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowery) and was upset to learn he blabbed to Jan about the security footage proof.

Dr. Snyder admitted that Jan had figured out Shawn and Belle’s knowledge of that evidence, so Belle ripped into the doc before dashing off to find Shawn.

Once Belle tracked Shawn down, she offered updates on what Dr. Snyder had told her. Shawn explained that Jan said she got held up talking to a friend, but Belle pointed out Jan had no friends.

Claire was the closest thing Jan had to one, so Shawn and Belle raced off to save their daughter from Jan’s clutches.

At the Horton house, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) wondered how long Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) had been standing there, but he didn’t seem all that suspicious.

Gwen claimed Dr. Snyder had prescribed her some painkillers and learned Chad was there to check on her for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).

Chad revealed that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) left town, so Gwen offered to call Abigail and admit to lying about the intentional staircase shove. She told Chad she was sorry if she was the reason Abigail left, but Chad insisted this was about Abigail’s guilt over her feelings about this baby from the get-go.

Gwen admitted that she thought this baby would be a chance at redemption. During the short time Gwen was pregnant, it was the happiest time of her life. Chad regretted his part in everything that happened, but he assured Gwen that he was truly sorry she lost the baby.

At Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) apartment, they were enjoying some romantic moments when Tripp interrupted. Tripp explained that Dr. Snyder had chewed him out for messing up his first intubation and sent him home.

Kayla was appalled since no med student should be expected to do it perfectly on the first try. She was particularly frustrated since Dr. Snyder had horrible bedside manner and had already been problematic.

Steve suggested Kayla could just fire Dr. Snyder, but Kayla shut down that idea.

However, Kayla was worried about Dr. Snyder’s escalating abusive behavior and feared something bad might happen because of him. Back with Gwen, she called Dr. Snyder to grumble about having to deliver his drugs.

Dr. Snyder pushed Gwen to just do what she was told or else he’ll make sure it became public knowledge that she lost the baby before the staircase fall.
