Days of Our Lives (DOOL) for the next two weeks, June 21 to July 2, tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) will spot a dead body in the lake while Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) makes a surprise visit to Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) vote will also pick DiMera Enterprises’ CEO, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
During the week of June 21-25, Allie and Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) will hope to get Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) seal of approval.
It sounds like Chanel and Allie will whip up a test batch of doughnuts using the Horton family recipe, so Julie can do some taste-testing and make sure they’re good enough to sell.
As for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), he’ll overhear Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) having a suspicious conversation.
Jack will be puzzled when he realizes Steve and Kayla are discussing Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), so he’ll push for some answers.
Of course, Steve and Kayla may not want to spill too much since they don’t really know anything yet.
Kayla suspects something’s up based on Tripp Johnson’s (Lucas Adams) concerns and Dr. Clay Snyder’s (Michael Lowry) troubling behavior, but she’ll need Steve’s help to figure out exactly what.
DOOL fans know Dr. Snyder is forcing Gwen to deliver drugs, but Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will think enough is enough.
Since Dr. Snyder will refuse to heed Xander’s warnings, Xander will turn menacing – and the result will involve some corpse clean-up!
Next, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will lead the charge to overthrow Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) at DiMera Enterprises. He’ll be glad to have Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) on his side as they get ready for a crucial DiMera board meeting.
Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) will head back to town and oversee that meeting, but Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will have to deliver her vote from afar.
She’ll remain on the lam, but she’ll write a letter to EJ and presumably express her CEO wishes in writing during the week of June 28-July 2.
That’ll also be when Kate casts the deciding vote. Kate will hold Jake’s fate in her hands – and soon after this vote goes down, she’ll face off with Jake and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus).
It sounds like Jake will be shocked along with Gabi when Kate not only votes against him but then reveals she isn’t blind!
Other Days spoilers say Ciara will come to Ben in a dream – and then in the flesh. Ciara will come home to demand a divorce in person, but Ben will hold out hope for a CIN miracle.
Ben will keep hope alive that Ciara’s memories will return before this marriage has to end.
The problem is Ciara just might want a different marriage. She’ll have an important motive backing up this push for a divorce, so it might involve an engagement to Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson).
Theo will return as well, so look for him to be part of Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) anniversary bash.
That Days shindig will be happening around the same time as Paulina Price’s (Jackee Harry) groundbreaking on the Horton Town Square initiative – the one Paulina’s been all shady about.
Lani will catch Paulina on a revealing phone call and flip out when she realizes her aunt has lied to Abe Carver (James Reynolds) repeatedly.
Back with EJ, he’ll have a major showdown with Chad. There’s a good chance EJ will swoop in and take control of DiMera at the last second – leaving Chad with nothing much to show for all the hard work he put in.
EJ pitched the idea of kicking Jake out and putting Chad back on the throne, but he may be too tempted to take that throne back himself!
Allie, Tripp, Ben and Claire will also enjoy a day at the lake, but things will take a gruesome turn when Claire and Allie go for a swim.
They’ll spot a dead body and call the cops, so it looks like dead Dr. Snyder will resurface after Gwen and Xander dump him in the water.
