Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will surrender to forbidden passion, so these cheaters will keep a sizzling secret from Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Let’s talk about this big betrayal and the fallout that’s sure to follow.
DOOL fans know Nicole and Rafe have been battling their feelings for each other, but it’s getting harder and harder to avoid temptation. Nicole even vowed to stay away from Rafe and basically cut off their friendship – mainly to put Ava’s mind at ease.
Since Nicole considers Ava to be a friend as well, she’s trying to respect boundaries and get over her persistent crush. However, Salem isn’t a very big town – and Rafe can’t seem to steer clear of Nicole anymore.
Nicole and Rafe would’ve kissed outside the pub recently if it hadn’t been for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) coming along!
It turns out Rafe and Nicole are going to do a lot more than lock lips at the office during the week of November 1-8.
We know Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) is headed back to Days and will rise from the dead thanks to possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).
That’ll bring total terror for Nicole and may leave her feeling vulnerable. Of course, Rafe will be glad to comfort Nicole in more ways than one. The result will be a steamy office hookup and plenty of guilt once they’re done.
It’ll be a familiar tale for Nicole, who slept with Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and found herself with a secret she regretted in the aftermath.
This isn’t the first time Rafe has cheated on a partner and had regrets afterward either. Even so, it’s the first time Rafe has betrayed Ava specifically since she’s his partner now.
Ava would be devastated and furious if she knew the truth, which is exactly why Nicole will push to keep this quiet. She’ll want a pact of silence, so Rafe will go along with it – even if part of him perhaps wants to break things off with Ava and start something new with Nicole.
That won’t be an option since Nicole will urge Rafe to go back to Ava and say nothing about what’s happened between them.
Nicole will hurl herself into a new romance with EJ while Rafe tries to pretend everything’s fine in his relationship with Ava.
Naturally, Days spoilers say Rafe’s guilt will take a toll and could alert Ava to the fact that something’s wrong.
It’ll be interesting to see whether guilty Rafe ultimately comes clean or Ava catches him another way!
