Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will freak over Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) and Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) kiss, so this mom will be upset over the secrets her daughter’s been keeping.
DOOL fans know Paulina and Chanel have a rather contentious relationship. Chanel has been a freeloader with no ambition for far too long as far as Paulina’s concerned.
Of course, Chanel is finally taking steps to rectify that since she’s got big plans for Sweet Bits Bakery.
The problem is Paulina’s hidden agenda could be setting Chanel up to fail, but that’s a different story! The point is Chanel and Paulina already have issues, but they’re about to have even more.
Days viewers will recall that Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) was thrown when Chanel admitted she was into girls as well as guys.
Lani was curious if Chanel had shared that info with Paulina, but Chanel insisted she preferred to keep her private life private. However, Chanel didn’t suspect Paulina would have an issue with her swinging both ways.
Days spoilers suggest otherwise since Paulina will reel over the news that Chanel and Allie kissed. During the week of June 14-18, Paulina will be in total shock over this revelation.
It seems like Paulina will have a bigger reaction than Lani, who was just a little taken aback and moved past it quickly.
Paulina may not be quite as accepting as Chanel predicted when it comes to this love life development – at least at first. Naturally, Paulina might settle down once Chanel explains how she feels and why she doesn’t like to label herself.
This will be a good opportunity for Paulina to understand her daughter on a deeper level and become more open-minded.
Nevertheless, there’ll be more drama to work through before that can happen. Paulina may be concerned about why Chanel would hide things from her, but her initial reaction to the kiss may serve as proof of a reason.
Chanel may feel like Paulina is judgmental in some ways and tough to truly communicate with.
Perhaps in the end, Chanel and Paulina will be able to grow closer as they learn more about each other. Unfortunately, Paulina will still be keeping a few secrets of her own!
Paulina’s true plans for the Horton Town Square will come to light down the road, so Chanel will be furious if her bakery idea crashes and burns.
