Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) may follow Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to the crypt for a devil bust. He should be shocked over chained John Black (Drake Hogestyn), so let’s talk about the gripping DOOL drama ahead.
During the week of November 8-12, Steve will start forming a plan.
The more Steve thinks about John’s abrupt disappearance, the more he’ll fear something’s dreadfully wrong. Steve will feel like there has to be a reason John vanished without warning and isn’t in touch with his family.
Marlena will continue to claim John’s working a case, but Steve will dig deeper and try to get to the bottom of all this.
The week of November 15-19 will bring another round of rising suspicions. Steve’s spidey senses will be tingling and telling him that John needs his help.
Days spoilers say Steve will also become concerned about Marlena’s bizarre behavior. He may present his fears to Marlena and get a rather blasé response.
From where Steve’s standing, it may not seem like Marlena even cares about what happened to John. She may shrug off the case and act like it’s not that big of a deal.
The holidays will be rapidly approaching, so Steve may feel like it’s weird for Marlena to be so indifferent when John could miss all the family festivities.
Possessed Marlena will no doubt push Steve to just give it a rest and let John come home when the job is done.
However, Steve wouldn’t be a very good private investigator if he just let this go. Likewise, Steve wouldn’t be a very good friend if he didn’t put some real effort into trying to find John.
The reasonable thing for Steve to do here is follow Marlena and see what she’s really up to.
That may be exactly what Steve ends up doing down the road. Steve is an expert at tailing people, so he may go after Marlena out of sight and try to figure out where she’s spending a good chunk of her time.
If Steve follows Marlena to the DiMera crypt as expected, what will his next move be?
Steve might get busted and face off with Marlena, but it’s also possible Steve will try to unshackle John and rescue him before the devil finds out.
Either way, possessed Marlena should regain the upper hand since her secret isn’t coming out just yet.
The devil could easily take Steve as his next hostage and continue wreaking havoc across Salem!
