Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, August 19, tease that Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) will get an amazing offer out of town while Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) makes a kiss confession to Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal). Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will also have an unsettling dream, so here’s what DOOL fans can look forward to.
For starters, Days spoilers say Claire will receive an incredible opportunity she never expected. She’ll mull it over quickly and determine that she simply can’t pass it up.
It looks like a new job is waiting for Claire in South Africa, so she’ll be leaving the country with Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) before the week’s over.
In the meantime, Theo will visit the DiMera mansion and fill Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) in on his heartbreak.
Chad will be sorry for what Theo’s going through and will offer a comforting hug before Theo goes. Days spoilers reveal that Theo will have to say a few more goodbyes, so he’ll leave Chad to focus on another task.
After Chad happily reunites with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) will need a favor from his brother. He’ll hope Chad can get Johnny on board with taking a job at DiMera Enterprises.
It’d mean the world if Johnny would join the family business instead of chasing this filmmaking career that EJ finds so frivolous.
Johnny will cool off and try to patch things up with EJ, but he’ll stand his ground on following his dreams.
That’s why EJ will be counting on Chad to sell Johnny on the idea of working at DiMera and embracing his legacy.
As for Ciara, she’ll leave Ben relieved when she admits she never slept with Theo during their relationship.
Ben assumed they had indeed been hitting the sheets since they were engaged, so he’ll be glad Ciara didn’t take that step.
Of course, Ben will wisely use this opportunity to get a confession of his own out in the open. He’ll admit to kissing Claire in a difficult moment, but he’ll make it clear that his heart belongs to Ciara and only Ciara.
Although this lip lock news may not be what Ciara wants to hear, she’ll appreciate Ben’s honesty and will understand the circumstances that brought it about.
In the end, Ben and Ciara will concentrate on their reunion since it’s all that really matters now.
Back with Theo, he’ll get a heartfelt apology from Claire regarding her role in the wedding deception.
Theo won’t blame Claire and may even thank her for preventing the marriage. Losing Ciara would’ve been even tougher if she’d become Theo’s wife first!
Across town, Allie will have a dream that shakes her up – one where she’s in bed with both Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens)!
Allie will also find out about Chanel’s new mystery guy, so we’ll see how long it takes her to realize “Giovanni” is actually her twin brother, Johnny.
