Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, October 21, teases that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will move forward with a break-in for devil evidence while Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) panics over Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) gunshot wound. Let’s talk about what’s in store on action-packed Thursday’s DOOL episode.
At the townhouse, an engaged Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will demand to see her husband. Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) no-visitor order was extended thanks to possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), so Julie will want an explanation and some changes.
Julie won’t buy that Doug is any kind of threat while under the strict watch of Bayview employees. The staff there has no problem with Julie visiting Doug, so it’s only Marlena who’s standing in the way.
Days spoilers say Julie will rip into Marlena for forcing this painful separation. It won’t make any sense to Julie, but Marlena will stand her ground and insist it’s just too dangerous to allow visitation.
John will enter the fray and perhaps argue that Marlena could make an exception, but she won’t be keen on it since Doug could expose the possession.
Julie will storm out and plan to defy Marlena’s orders, so that’ll become another problem for the devil to contend with soon.
In the meantime, Abe will have an idea that worries Paulina Price (Jackee Harry). When Abe brings up the idea of Marlena officiating their wedding, Paulina will immediately think back to the secrets she spilled to her.
Paulina is uncomfortable around Marlena now as a result, but she’ll raise suspicions if she fully rejects Abe’s plan.
In the end, Paulina should go along with the idea and accompany Abe to ask Marlena to do the honors.
Possessed Marlena will surprise Paulina with her attitude, so that’ll bring a peculiar interaction as far as Paulina’s concerned.
Paulina will definitely wonder what’s gotten into Marlena. As for John, he thinks he might know what’s gotten into his love – and the answer is the devil!
Days spoilers say John will unload his suspicions to Abe, who may agree it’s something worth looking into. John will hope he’s wrong, but he’ll fear history has repeated itself.
After John realizes there could be demonic evidence in Marlena’s office, he’ll break in and dig until he finds the tape recorder. John will soon realize Doug’s tape is in there, so he should give it a listen before the week’s over.
After Jake savors some time in the bedroom with Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), he’ll take charge of this whole Carmine (Richard Stevens) situation. Jake will decide he can solve all his problems if he confronts the bogus eyewitness, who’s the real murderer.
Jake will want to eliminate Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) leverage – and he could pull it off if he convinces Carmine not to provide his false eyewitness account.
It looks like Jake’s plan will be to scare Carmine a bit with his gun, but Carmine will up the ante by actually firing shots.
Unfortunately, Abe will appear when this mob faceoff is happening. The result will be a gunshot wound for Abe and total panic for Jake! We’ll provide updates as other Days news comes in.
