Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, September 30, teases that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will face a deadly warning while the devil brings Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) dream. Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) spills to Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens).
In the town square, Allie and Chanel will put in another hard day’s work. Chanel and Allie will don their pink aprons as they sell Sweet Bits Bakery treats, but Allie will make time for a quick kiss with Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams).
Chanel will have a front-row seat for the smooch, but she may not be as jealous as before since she’s falling hard for Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). As for Allie, she’ll use Chanel as her confidant on Thursday’s DOOL episode.
Allie will have some things to get off her chest regarding Tripp, so she might talk about where she stands with him romantically and even mention his skepticism regarding the possession.
The possession will obviously still be on Johnny’s mind since it’s now the focus of his movie, but he won’t be getting any money from John or Marlena.
John will offer updates to Johnny, who’ll be bummed over the investment not panning out.
However, John just won’t feel right about writing a check for a project that could mean provoking the devil and stirring up the painful past.
Johnny will just have to score money from other people and places, but one thing’s for sure: he’s committed to making this possession flick a reality!
Meanwhile, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will face an alternate reality of sorts. She’ll have an unsettling dream as the devil continues to battle for full control of her.
Marlena will indeed fall completely under the devil’s spell down the road, but she’ll continue a war within for now. Speaking of wars, one will go down between EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) on Thursday’s Days episode.
That might get started because of EJ’s date night with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Lucas’ disparaging remarks.
Of course, there’ll be some Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) sparring as well, so Lucas and EJ will definitely get riled. Some punches will come close to being thrown, but EJ and Lucas should settle down in the end.
At the hospital, Tripp will remain on Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) medical team as they work to help Doug Williams (Bill Hayes).
Days spoilers say Doug will try to communicate again, but it won’t be easy. It’s clear that Doug is weak and a bit out of it thanks to his duel with the devil recently.
DOOL viewers will see John pay a visit to Doug’s bedside, where Doug will do his best to get a warning out.
Before the week’s over, Doug will insist that Marlena wants him dead!
That won’t make much sense to John at first, but things will become clearer as time goes on.
