Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) could find himself in an incredibly difficult position. Tripp wants to believe Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) has truly turned her life around, but he could soon grow suspicious about what she’s hiding.
Some hints have been dropping about Ava’s guilt since Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) spotted her sneaking out the backdoor the night Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) was killed.
Ava also seemed tempted to make a confession other than the one she gave Tripp about being cut off financially from the mob.
It’s easy to see that Ava’s leaving Tripp out of the loop on some crucial details that tie in with Charlie’s fate. Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean Ava’s the true killer, but it does mean she’s deceiving Tripp – and that lead to trouble.
Meanwhile, we’ve got Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), who’s been bonding with Tripp lately. Days fans have watched Allie and Tripp come together over Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox), so it feels like they’re inching toward couple status.
We know Allie took the gun from Kate Roberts DiMera’s (Lauren Koslow) armoire – and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) clearly suspects Allie might’ve killed Charlie instead of Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) at this point.
Allie isn’t the real murderer, but the evidence could make her the new top suspect!
Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Sami may be a free woman by the time the week of March 29-April 2 rolls around. Rafe is bound to grill Allie and could end up contemplating another arrest.
If Allie’s freedom is in jeopardy, Tripp should get updates and rush to her defense.
In the coming DOOL episodes, Allie will insist she’s innocent – and Tripp may decide he believes under the circumstances. Although Allie wrongfully accused Tripp of assaulting her, she wasn’t making up her claims. Allie fully believed she was telling the truth at the time.
It’s also true that Allie pulled that very gun on Tripp at one point, but he’s come to trust Allie should believe her when she swears she didn’t kill Charlie. Even if Allie considered pulling the trigger, she must’ve backed out ahead of the real killer’s shot.
How long will it be until Tripp points the finger at his own mother instead of Allie? Probably not long if Ava keeps acting guilty and making cryptic comments! This is the perfect setup for Tripp to get caught between his defense of Allie and his suspicions regarding what Ava actually did that night.
