Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, November 30, teases that Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) buried secret will be at risk while Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) faces her worst nightmare. Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will also move forward with an escape plot, so let’s discuss all the Days mayhem.
At the Hernandez house, Ava will spend some time reconnecting with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) in the bedroom. Rafe and Ava will be ready to move beyond the mistakes of the past, but they’ll both have big secrets to keep under wraps.
DOOL fans know Rafe slept with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) at Basic Black, but he’s not the only one hiding things. We can’t forget Ava lied to Rafe after she helped Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) escape during her previous stint. Now Kristen has been captured again and could blab about that unless Ava cooperates.
Of course, Kristen might try working the friendship angle first, but she’ll be willing to deliver threats if need be. One way or another, Kristen will want her freedom – and she’ll expect Ava to pull it off with Gwen’s help.
As for Gwen, it appears she’ll toss and torn over a nightmare about Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Xander will rush in and declare that he has to rescue Sarah, who’s trapped on a remote island. He’ll be all set to leave Gwen, but she should wake up and realize she needs to stop this dream from becoming a reality.
Since Gwen wants Kristen to keep her mouth shut, she’ll need to do what she’s told once Ava pays her a visit. Days spoilers say AJ McLean will play a prison transport driver who’s part of the getaway plan Ava orchestrates. Christopher Matthew Cook will also portray a prison employee, so it’ll be a team effort that Ava has to pull off with connections and a good dose of trickery.
Gwen will reluctantly become an accomplice and hope Kristen indeed keeps Sarah’s true location quiet. In the meantime, Xander will give Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) some flowers during a hospital visit. He’ll get quite a shock in return when Susan admits she wasn’t behind Kristen’s actions.
Kristen pretended to be Susan and called Xander to alert him to Sarah’s imminent betrayal – though “Sarah” was actually Kristen wearing a mask. The result was Xander walking in on “Sarah” and Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) getting steamy, which led to the end of his engagement.
It looks like Susan will explain her lack of involvement and send Xander to Kristen for answers about why she sabotaged his love life. Xander is bound to think something awfully fishy is going on here, so he’ll plan to confront Kristen at the Salem PD and demand some answers.
Until then, Chad will check in with Rafe and sit down for a chat with Kristen in the interrogation room. Although Chad will be disappointed in his sister, he’ll no doubt let Kristen know he still loves her. Chad may hope this could serve as a turning point, but he won’t realize Kristen’s on the verge of making a break for it.
Speaking of making a break for it, that’s exactly what Sami will have in mind soon enough. After Sami flirts with Jason (Noel Gugliemi) the guard, she’ll hope for the name of his boss. When Sami fails to figure out who her abductor is, she’ll catch Jason with his back turned and use her dinner tray to knock him out cold.
Sami will bolt for the door, but she’ll soon find there’s another locked one behind it! While Sami reaches another dead end, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will reflect on the past and fill Nicole in on the guilt he’s dealing with.
There’s been conflicting info on whether EJ might’ve been the reason for Sami’s kidnapping, but Days will reveal more as time goes on. EJ’s guilt may actually be about his treatment of Sami when she was caring for him in Italy. He faced a slow recovery and took his pain out on Sami, which hurt her deeply.
Sami felt alone and unlovable, so EJ may acknowledge that he’s at least partially responsible for Sami seeking comfort elsewhere. That said, it also hurt EJ for Sami to stray to another man’s bed – particularly Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo). The fact that Sami kept it a secret and acted like a hypocrite with Nicole didn’t do her any favors either.
EJ will pour his heart out over his guilt and complicated feelings, so Nicole will be there to lend a sympathetic ear. We’ll provide updates as other DOOL news becomes available.
