Days of Our Lives Spoilers Update: Friday, January 29 – Tripp Celebrates, Allie Says Sorry – Ciara Gets Answers From Rhodes

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Friday, January 29, teases that Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will finally get the attention of her captor. A guy with a cowboy hat will approach Ciara and offer up a book to keep her quiet.

Ciara’s had a lot of time to read in the months since her presumed death, but she wants more out of life than a way to pass the hours in captivity.

What Ciara’s really looking for is her freedom and a chance to reunite with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara will urge this captor named Rhodes (Jason Downs) to open up the plexiglass cage she’s trapped in.

Ciara won’t understand why Rhodes is even still holding her hostage since his boss is behind bars. Of course, that boss is Vincent Belman (Michael Teh), who still wants Ben to pay for what he did to Wendy Taylor (Denice Duff).

Rhodes will inform Ciara that he’s still getting paid and that’s all that matters to him. He’ll talk about how the faked death plot came together and how Ciara ended up at this secret hideout.

Rhodes will eventually don that cowboy hat we mentioned and saunter off, so a miserable Ciara will wonder how she’s going to get home.

In Salem, Ben will finally crack open his fortune cookie and get a huge surprise. There’ll be a message inside that really resonates with Ben. It might be a fortune about how true love never dies or a promise is forever.

Ben has already been feeling Ciara might still be alive, but this will truly push Ben to act on that feeling. After Ben picks up his wedding pic with Ciara, he’ll hold it up along with the tiny paper fortune. Ben will only have his heart and a cookie prediction to go on, but that’ll be enough for now!

In the week ahead, Ben will talk to Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) about a Ciara premonition – one that convinces Susan that Ciara indeed survived Vincent’s ordeal. In the meantime, Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) will shut down Tripp Dalton’s (Lucas Adams) talk of proof.

Tripp swiped a sample from Charlie’s place, so the evidence Tripp just delivered is no doubt the DNA test results.

Tripp will invite Charlie to take a look and see that he indeed shares DNA with Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) – but he’ll insist Charlie already knew that. Tripp will call Charlie out for assaulting innocent Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) in her own home and refusing to acknowledge that he fathered her child.

Despite Charlie’s repeated denials, Tripp will think the proof is right there in black and white. He’ll feel like things would go a lot better for Charlie if he’d just come clean at the Salem PD.

Naturally, Charlie won’t see why he should. He’ll stand by his claims that Tripp is the father and the one who attacked Allie that night.

Tripp will get fed up with his half-brother since they both know he’s telling lie after lie. Nevertheless, Charlie may not see what any of this matters since a) he didn’t consent to the DNA test and b) Allie originally told the cops Tripp did it.

Perhaps Charlie will act like this whole case is too convoluted and will inevitably be thrown out since Allie can’t even remember for sure.

What Charlie doesn’t realize is that Allie underwent hypnosis and just recalled everything she blocked out due to her trauma. Allie can tell the cops every last detail now – and she will once she gathers her strength again. It definitely took a lot out of Allie to relive that horrible experience, but at least she can firmly point the finger at Charlie and Charlie alone.

Unfortunately, the police in London may still decline to prosecute Charlie. Allie may have a hard time getting justice after all this time and so many memory hurdles.

Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will do his part to help by offering some important evidence to Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), which Shawn will make sure ends up with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).

That evidence should involve the DNA proof, which may not be admissible under the circumstances of how Tripp and Steve got it. However, Shawn can at least give the proof to Rafe and let Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) know about it as well.

It looks like Allie will seek out Claire to talk about her hypnosis session, but Claire may still be busy with Ben. Belle Black (Martha Madison) will sit down with Allie in the meantime and provide some comfort.

Days spoilers say Allie will feel bad about being so cruel to Tripp when he wasn’t guilty of the crime. She’ll hate what she put Tripp through, but Belle will think Allie should go easy on herself.

Belle should remind Allie that Charlie was the cruel one and suggest that Tripp will understand. After Allie finds Tripp and asks for forgiveness, Tripp may offer an apology as well.

DOOL fans know Tripp acted quite suspicious in the beginning. He got defensive, changed part of his story and refused to consent to a DNA test.

Tripp did all the wrong things and made himself look guilty, so he may be sorry for how he handled it, too. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Tripp won’t hold Allie’s mistake against her, so these two will clear the air.

It’ll be a celebratory day for Tripp, who’ll eventually bond with Steve over the nightmare being behind him.

As for Allie, she’ll now have to live with the memories that have resurfaced and keep dealing with the aftermath of Charlie’s terrible actions. We’ll bring you updates as other Days news emerges.
