Days of Our Lives Spoilers Update: Monday, February 8 – Xander Quits Titan – Jack Shocks Gwen - Chad’s Home Improvement

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, February 8, teases that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) won’t let a little rejection get her down. Gabi was disappointed over Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) decision to pass on her proposal, but she’s no quitter! She won’t give up on winning Jake back, but she’ll have to find another way to make her business dreams happen.

Since Gabi can’t fulfill all her Gabi Chic plans at DiMera Enterprises, she’ll hope Titan Industries will take advantage of this golden opportunity – at least that’s how she’ll pitch it to Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer)!

Gabi will deliver her proposal and perhaps argue that Xander’s a much smarter CEO than Jake is. She’ll probably do her best to butter Xander up and convince him this is a sound business move.

Of course, Xander doesn’t like Gabi – and she doesn’t like him either. That might even be something Gabi uses in her pitch. Gabi might feel like this is important enough to put past issues to rest and just focus on the dollar signs everyone involved will be seeing.

The truth is Gabi will be desperate, so Xander may sense that and taunt her about it. Even so, Xander might see the potential for profit. While Xander contemplates Gabi’s plan, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) will surprise Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson).

It looks like Victor will turn down Philip’s resignation letter and forgive him following his trip to Philadelphia.

Since the mob nightmare will finally be over and Philip will be genuinely remorseful, Victor will cut his son some slack. Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Philip won’t face any serious consequences, so Xander’s going to explode over that news.

Gabi won’t be making a deal with Xander since he’s about to walk away from Titan entirely.

Angry Xander will make a stunning announcement on Tuesday, so Monday’s cliffhanger should set that up. Xander may bark that he quits Titan and insist that Philip’s on his own from now on.

Since Victor is always going to give Philip preferential treatment, Xander just won’t think any of this is worth it anymore. As for Gabi, she’ll have to make another pitch to Philip down the road.

Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will spruce up the DiMera mansion with a fresh coat of paint. It seems Chad will redecorate the children’s rooms as a distraction from his marriage woes.

Chad might even hope he can entice Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) to see him as a devoted family man again.

However, seeing Chad as a family man isn’t the issue – and neither is his love for Abigail. The real problem is that Chad put his faith in Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) instead of his own wife. Abigail thought there was more trust between them than that, so she’s having a rough time with this.

Chad will get a pep talk and some advice from Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) on Monday’s DOOL episode. Kate will also chat with Jake and receive a tempting offer.

Jake may argue that Kate’s assistance had made a huge difference now that he’s in the CEO chair. Perhaps Jake will offer a position to make Kate his right-hand woman with a fancy title and all the benefits.

Jake will truly want to make Kate’s help more official, but she may worry about how this will look. Kate already has insecurities since Jake’s a younger man than her. Since Kate already feels like a cougar, she won’t like the idea of people thinking she’s sleeping her way to the top, too.

Nevertheless, Jake will do his best to convince Kate that it’ll work out well for both of them. Mixing business and pleasure could be another concern of Kate’s, but we’ll see if Jake can get her on board.

Across town, Gwen will get another visit from Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). After Gwen admits Abigail told her Jack wasn’t behind the payments, Jack will confirm Abby was right.

Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) was the one who threw money at Tiffany Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) to make sure she kept quiet about Jack’s child. Jack will end up divulging that shocker during this discussion, so Gwen will hit the roof.

She’ll still have some rage in her heart for Jack and certainly for Abigail, but Laura will rise to the top of Gwen’s fury list.

Jack will be apologetic for the mess Laura set in motion, but Gwen won’t care much about his excuses. She’ll just want to know how Jack intends to make things right.

Jack won’t know the answer to that question, but he’ll hope he can find a way forward with Gwen and perhaps build a bond eventually.

Although Jack will vow to make up for Gwen’s troubled past, he’ll need something in return. Jack’s condition on this agreement will be that Gwen ends her reign of terror. He won’t see why Gwen should keep going after Abigail since none of this is her fault.

Gwen has loathed Abigail for so long that it’ll be tough to shake that mentality. She won’t be able to give up her Abby grudge cold turkey! Even so, Gwen might agree to mull it over and see if that’s a deal she’s willing to make with Jake.

After Laura encounters Kate, these old foes will clash. Laura will rant about Kate’s penchant for destroying marriages since she blames Kate for ruining her own years ago.

Kate recently came between Jack and Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) as well, so Laura may think that’s so typical.

Kate will give as good as she gets, so this will turn into quite a confrontation. Afterward, Laura will head to the Salem Inn to face Gwen and own up to what she did.

Gwen won’t appreciate Laura’s efforts and will rip into her for how she handled things with Tiffany all those years ago.

We’ll provide updates as other Days news becomes available. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen’s argument with Laura will escalate and get physical once Tuesday rolls around, so don’t miss it!
