Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, January 21, tease that Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) will discuss all the DiMera upheaval.
There’s been a ton of family mayhem going on since Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) cheated on Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) after buying all the lies about Abby and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash).
Naturally, Anna will think Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) deserves all the blame. Gwen also blew up the scandal that resulted in the CEO shakeup at DiMera Enterprises, so that’ll trouble Tony and Anna. They may not think Jake should be trusted with the family legacy since he really doesn’t know what he’s doing.
As for Gwen, Anna will speak her mind once she spots her in the town square. Gwen will trip over Anna’s foot, which will be an intentional move on Anna’s part. After Gwen nearly takes a spill, she’ll have to face Anna’s wrath.
Anna won’t know what Gwen’s deal is, but she’ll wish the ex-nanny would go back to wherever she came from. Gwen has been nothing but trouble from day one as far as Anna’s concerned.
Of course, Gwen might insist she can’t leave Salem until she plays all her cards. There’ll be some cryptic comments that leave Anna worried about what else Gwen might try to pull.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Anna will tell Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) to watch his back when it comes to Gwen. Anna will feel like Gwen is still a loaded gun, so she’ll warn Jack to be careful. Since Jack still doesn’t know what Gwen’s motives are, he’ll decide to tackle that problem head-on.
DOOL viewers can expect Jack to bang on the door of Gwen’s new hotel suite. Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) will arrive for this ambush as well, which Gwen may not be pleased about at first.
However, Gwen will eventually realize now’s as good a time as any to divulge her big secret. Gwen has inflicted all the damage she intended to, so she might as well deliver this bombshell.
Days spoilers suggest Gwen has targeted the Deveraux family because she’s a member of it! Gwen’s bombshell should involve the news that she’s Jack biological daughter, which would make Abigail the half-sister she’s jealous of.
While Jack and Jennifer react to Gwen’s revelation, Chad will get the same shock when he visits Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay).
Chad recently thought back on a moment when he doubted Gwen, which was undoubtedly after Gwen let Dr. Rolf escape during the blackout. Once Chad accuses Dr. Rolf of being secret partners with Gwen, Rolf will admit it’s true.
In fact, Dr. Rolf will come clean about Gwen’s link to the Deveraux clan and the help he gave her along the way.
Will Chad also learn that Gwen was behind Abigail’s drugging? Even if Dr. Rolf doesn’t confess that part, it shouldn’t be too hard for Chad to put it together. Days spoilers say Chad will rush out of Statesville and head over to the Horton house.
Chad will think Abigail needs to know who Gwen really is and why she’s been plotting destruction!
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will react to Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Camila Banus) shocking return. Gabi just appeared in Jake’s office – and she’s back to stay! Jake will find out Gabi has no plans to walk away from the man she wants, which is obviously Jake.
Gabi may guess that Jake and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) have already fizzled by now. She’ll be informed that Jake has actually gone public in a real relationship with Kate, but Gabi won’t worry about that.
Instead, Gabi will get started on tempting Jake and will lean in dangerously close.
Whether Gabi tries to embrace Jake or perhaps comments on his irresistible aftershave, she’ll find some excuse to cozy up to him. Once Kate shows up, she’ll seethe over Gabi & Jake’s compromising position.
This will lead to some hurled insults between Kate and Gabi once Friday rolls around, so Jake may have to play referee!
