Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, June 3, teases that Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) will have a wild new proposal while Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) faces a cabin fire surprise. As for Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), she’ll face a work emergency she didn’t see coming!
DOOL fans know Chanel was outraged when Paulina cut her off financially. That led to Chanel marrying Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) since she mistakenly thought he could be her wealthy new husband, but that plan didn’t pan out since Xander was broke!
With Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) guidance, Chanel seems to be inching toward the acceptance that she has to do something with her life. Chanel just needs to settle on a career she can be passionate about – and she’ll think she’s found it in Thursday’s Days episode.
Look for Chanel to excitedly fill Lani in on a business proposal – one that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will team up with Chanel on this summer. While Chanel gets pumped about a new path to money, Paulina will worry her own lucrative goal could blow up in her face.
Paulina has less than pure motives when it comes to the Horton Town Square, but Abe Carver (James Reynolds) hasn’t been given the whole story. He supports Paulina’s vision and may wind up spreading the word to the wrong people.
Whatever the case, Paulina will scramble to save her devious plan after Abe blunders and nearly costs her the project – the real one anyway!
In the meantime, Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) will call Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) and suggest he should listen up if he wants Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) to survive the night.
Jan has bailed on her dreams of being with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), so she intends to fly solo once Philip comes up with plenty of cash and a private plane. The catch is Jan will pull the trigger on Chloe if Philip dares to bring backup or alert the authorities at all.
Philip understands that Jan is a dangerous wildcard, so he’ll fib to Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and sneak off to meet Jan along with Chloe. Days of Our Lives spoilers say danger will erupt as Chloe tries to pry the gun out of Jan’s grasp.
Jan will fight back and may end up pumping a bullet in Chloe’s upper arm.
We’ll see Chloe holding that portion of her body in pain, so Jan may warn against forcing another gunshot wound! Philip will have trouble handling someone as crazy as Jan, but he’ll know Chloe’s life depends on gaining some sort of advantage here.
While Chloe, Jan and Philip are caught up in that confrontation, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will realize he’s inadvertently put Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) in peril. Jan rigged a sneaky setup that’ll knock a lit lantern onto gasoline if the door’s opened – and Ben’s just about to go inside!
Days spoilers say Ben will freak over the booby trap and the disastrous results. It looks like a fire will indeed break out, but Ben will manage to free Claire from her restraints and send her on her way.
Claire will rush to Statesville, where Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will be an emotional wreck until she finally sees her daughter alive and well.
Shawn will breathe a sigh of relief as well, but then it’ll be time to get down to the business of securing Belle’s freedom. Belle only confessed and entered a guilty plea to save Claire, but Jan went back on the deal.
Fortunately, DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) seems to be catching on thanks to Philip and will hopefully be cooperative when it comes to fixing this. We’ll bring you updates as other DOOL news rolls in.
