Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, August 11, teases that Alison Sweeney will depart the role of Sami Brady DiMera, so we’ve got some abduction details. As for Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), she’ll struggle to shake Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) – no matter what she tells Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson)!
At the DiMera mansion, Sami will chew Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) out for retrieving the letter she tried to burn in the fireplace.
Sami will feel like Lucas is the reason the letter was intercepted by Philip and ultimately delivered to EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) by Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker).
Lucas will apologize for briefly thinking he might try to destroy Sami and EJ’s marriage. He backed out of the idea, so he won’t think it’s his fault – especially not when Sami provoked Nicole into seeking revenge.
Of course, Lucas won’t exactly be sorry that Sami and EJ’s relationship is crumbling. He’ll make another pitch to be with Sami, but she’ll intend to fight for EJ instead.
When EJ returns to the living room, he may wonder what Sami’s even still doing there. EJ made it clear that he wanted Sami out of that house and out of his life.
It seems EJ will rip the necklace he gave Sami right off her neck and push her to get out right now. Sami will reluctantly leave, but she’ll assure EJ that she’s not giving up on their future.
Meanwhile, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will seethe over the discovery she just made in Nicole’s apartment. Ava will battle some serious jealousy now that she’s seen Nicole looking all cozy in Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) arms.
Ava may quiz Nicole and Rafe, but they’ll no doubt act like this couch embrace is just a normal moment between friends. The problem is Ava will worry Rafe and Nicole are on the verge of being more than just pals – and she’ll hold Sami responsible.
Days spoilers say Ava will resolve to get some payback on Sami, so she’ll form a quick plot and most likely put it in motion ASAP.
At the Hernandez house, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will tell Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) all about her plans for world domination.
Jake may wonder if Gabi can really pull off stealing the Titan CEO spot from Philip, but Gabi will be brimming with confidence.
Gabi won’t realize that Sami’s on her way to talk to her about the living situation at the DiMera manse. It turns out Sami won’t make it instead since someone wearing black gloves will sneak up behind her and cover her mouth.
Sami will get kidnapped – and since Days spoilers confirm Ava will crave revenge on Sami, the former mob queen is looking like the mastermind of this abduction.
At Titan, DOOL spoilers say Philip will deal with concerns about his love life. He was thrilled to finally score a chance with Chloe, but he’ll start to feel like she’s pulling away and giving Brady all her attention.
Chloe will reiterate that she chose Philip and wants to give their romance a real chance to work, so they’ll seal it with a kiss. Unfortunately, Chloe can’t seem to get Brady out of her head, so that’s bound to be a bigger issue as time goes on.
Lucas will eventually interrupt, so Chloe will leave Philip to face his brother’s fury. Philip will defend his letter delivery and perhaps push Lucas to just let Sami cool off.
Philip may think all this will work out for Lucas in the end, but Lucas will feel like Philip sabotaged his shot with Sami instead.
However, Philip and Lucas are family, so they’ll no doubt find a way forward sooner or later.
Back with EJ, he’ll get on the phone with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and offer updates on everything that’s gone down back in Salem.
Kristen may assure EJ that her intention wasn’t to hurt him; she merely thought he should know what a cheating liar he was married to.
