Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, March 24, teases that Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Eli Price-Grant (Lamon Archey) will share some lovey-dovey moments as they prepare for their babies’ christening. This is a big day for the twins, but Eli and Lani can’t delay the inevitable any longer.
Before this christening ceremony happens, Lani and Eli have to find a way to get through to Paulina Price (Jackée Harry). Paulina is tickled pink about having Jules Grant as a goddaughter and wouldn’t listen to Lani’s attempts to clear up the confusion.
However, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will have a meltdown if she’s not given the godmother title she wanted. To be fair, Jules is named after Julie! This is something that’s arguably more important to Julie than it is Paulina deep down.
That’s why Valerie Grant (Vanessa A. Williams) will take one for the team and fill Paulina in on Julie being the true godmother. Eli, Lani and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) should all be relieved that Valerie’s taking the initiative here.
Perhaps Valerie can talk about her own disappointment over not having a twin named after her. Carver is named after Lani’s father, so Valerie naturally expected to get a name nod as Eli’s mother. It had to sting when Eli bypassed Valerie and named his daughter after Julie instead!
Valerie was definitely bummed at the time, so she might connect with Paulina over their similar snubs. Even so, what’s most important is that Jules and Carver are happy, healthy babies who were reunited with their parents after the kidnapping crisis.
In the end, Paulina and everyone else will gladly come together to celebrate the twins at the christening ceremony.
At the hospital, Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will remain confused since she’s missing the last few years. That could bring some awkward scenes when Julie and Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) come for a visit.
Julie has a habit of putting her foot in her mouth, so she might bring up Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and leave Ciara wondering why everybody’s acting like there’s some sort of connection.
However, Doug and Julie will mostly just be happy to see Ciara living and breathing right in front of them. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara will smile as she catches up with them, but an even bigger smile will come when Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) arrives.
Days spoilers state that Theo will have some flowers for Ciara – her favorite kind since he remembered what they were. Ciara will give her bouquet a sniff and thank Theo for visiting. She’ll be overjoyed to see Theo’s friendly face and catch up on what his life’s been like in South Africa.
If Theo lets it slip that he recently went through a breakup, that could give Ciara hope for her own romance with Theo. Whatever the case, Ciara will snuggle down in her bed after Theo leaves and seem like she’s truly smitten.
There’s always been a deep bond between Ciara and Theo, so it’ll be easy for Ciara to let her old desires for him creep up.
Of course, Ciara doesn’t realize she’s married to Ben – and he won’t want to push her too hard when it comes to her missing memories. Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will get updates on Ben’s dilemma and argue that his buddy’s being much too passive.
From where Jake’s standing, he’ll think Ben has to be the kind of man who’ll fight for his wife!
Ben will be hesitant, but Jake will think there has to be something Ben can try. Jake will try to help by suggesting Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) memory serum as an option, but Ben won’t want to put Ciara’s health in jeopardy.
That serum is typically used on people who have returned through the other back-from-the-dead serum, so Ciara may not even qualify as a candidate in this case.
Regardless, Jake won’t want Ben to give up hope. He’ll feel like Ben just has to make an effort and help Ciara recall the grand love they used to share. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben will gather his courage and approach Ciara’s room later.
Ben may beg Ciara to stay calm and let him explain everything she’s forgotten.
Ben will indeed get the chance to open up about all the major milestones in their relationship soon enough. Ciara will find out Ben’s her husband and will hear quite a story as the week continues, so stay tuned to DOOL! As other info emerges, we’ll bring you the latest news.
