Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, December 29 Update – Sami Breaks EJ’s Heart – Gwen Tricks Xander – Jack’s Big Decision

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, December 29, teases that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will break EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) heart while Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) tricks Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will also face a big decision, so he’ll have a lot on his mind after Maggie Kiriakis’ (Suzanne Rogers) visit.

Now that Sami’s had a chance to process the accusations against EJ, she’ll let her current husband have his say. Sami still loves EJ and desperately wants the Salem PD to be wrong this time around.

EJ will insist he’s indeed been wrongfully accused and will try to convince Sami to support him.

However, Days spoilers suggest EJ may botch any chance of a reunion by flinging his own wild accusations.

EJ initially thought Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) might’ve set him up and then suspected Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) as a potential culprit.

If EJ shares his suspicions with Sami, she may think he’s just making stuff up to avoid being held accountable.

Sami might suggest it’s particularly ridiculous to think Lucas would do such a thing! She won’t realize Lucas is truly to blame for the time she spent held hostage in Wisconsin.

Based on Jason’s (Noel Gugliemi) statement and some new proof that’s about to surface, Days spoilers say Sami won’t believe EJ is innocent. She’ll push EJ away and perhaps suggest he was right about the divorce all along.

Since EJ ultimately changed his mind about ending their marriage, he’ll be heartbroken when he loses Sami all over again.

While EJ sulks, Gwen will canoodle with Xander in bed and get to work on a new strategy to keep his Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) concerns at bay.

In a moment alone, DOOL spoilers say Gwen will get on her computer and prepare for the next step. She’ll have some sneaky tactic that’ll trick Xander and keep him from going down the right Sarah path.

Xander may also get distracted over his plan to help Gwen mend fences with her father. Jack was upset over Gwen’s continued deception, but Xander wants to repair their father-daughter bond if he can.

Xander recruited Maggie to help with that plan, so she’ll keep her promise and make a pitch to Jack.

Maggie may reflect on the past and how many chances Jack’s been given over the years. Although Maggie doesn’t approve of Gwen’s bad decisions, what matters now is Jack’s own choice.

Maggie may think Jack’s going to regret it if he keeps Gwen at a distance. Since Maggie recently lost Summer Townsend (Marie Wilson), she knows what it’s like to have a complicated relationship with a child.

Despite all the drama, Maggie no doubt wishes they could’ve had more time together.

Maggie’s words will weigh on Jack’s heart, so he could be tempted to forgive Gwen once more. While Jack tries to decide, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will open her door to a familiar face.

Nicole will greet Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), who’ll bring plenty of news during his surprise visit to her apartment.

Eric will fill Nicole in on Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) successful exorcism, so that’ll be a relief. Nicole will know Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) must be ecstatic along with the rest of the family.

Since Eric has rejoined the priesthood, that’s something else he’ll have to address during this catch-up session.

Eric mentioned how something Nicole said pushed him back toward his true calling.

Eric will want to thank Nicole for that and make peace following their recent divorce, so Nicole and Eric will be on good terms in the aftermath of their blown-up marriage.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole will enjoy some sweet scenes with Eric before the nightmare Ava Vitali’s set to (Tamara Braun) unleash in the new year.
