Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, October 20, teases that EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) romantic night will go awry. Meanwhile, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will make a jailhouse visit to Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), so let’s dive in and discuss what’s ahead on DOOL.
In lockup, Jack will manage to score some time with Gwen, who’ll be sorry for letting her dad down again. Although Jack won’t turn his back on Gwen when she needs him most, he’ll still be frustrated with her. Trying to trap the judge was a horrible plan that only made matters worse.
Jack will wish Gwen could learn to trust him instead of going behind his back with crazy schemes. Unfortunately, Gwen will continue to keep a massive secret from Jack on Wednesday’s episode.
Jack doesn’t realize Gwen lost the baby before she ever fought with Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) on the stairs. Abigail has been beating herself up over that tumble for nothing.
Gwen’s actions nearly resulted in the end of Abigail and Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) marriage – not to mention Gwen has been lying to Jack about this for months.
In other words, Gwen is sitting on a ticking truth timebomb, so Days viewers can expect it to explode down the road. In the meantime, Abigail will wonder what exactly Gwen is hiding.
Abigail won’t buy the hooker story and will suspect there’s another reason why Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowry) was able to blackmail Gwen into making drug deliveries.
Abigail will mull over a theory as she discusses Gwen’s arrest with Chad, so we’ll see if he also agrees there’s more going on.
Regardless, Chad and Abigail will be glad they were able to overcome their latest rough patch. Their marriage isn’t perfect, but it’s getting stronger every day.
Now it’s just a matter of whether Abigail and Chad’s relationship can handle what’s next – and things could get ugly since EJ’s so determined to make waves.
For now, EJ will concentrate on his personal life and his attempt to woo Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker).
Since Nicole and EJ’s last date was a bit of a train wreck, EJ will plan another bigger and better one. He’ll hope to give Nicole a night free of Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) interruptions and just focus on the possibility of a new future.
Other Days spoilers say Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will share some big news with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).
Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) pushed for a deal with DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang), which would allow Xander and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) to walk free – that is if Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is delivered to the authorities.
Of course, Victor has to find Kristen before he can keep his end of the bargain.
That’s where Steve comes in, so Kayla will be surprised over his new job. Steve certainly wouldn’t mind taking Kristen down, so he’ll dig up info and work on the search..
Days spoilers say Steve and Kayla will team up to pump EJ for information, but he may not appreciate yet another distraction on date night!
Back with Jack, he’ll check in with Xander and perhaps scold him for going along with Gwen’s scheme to blackmail the judge.
Jack may not fully blame Xander since Gwen has a mind of her own, but he’ll still be disappointed in both of them.
As for Justin, he’ll be let out of his cell and will presumably score bail. Justin will also be grateful when Bonnie Lockhart’s (Judi Evans) visitor privileges are restored since that’ll reunite them in the interrogation room.
Bonnie will cry over Justin’s arrest and the fact that he could get disbarred because of her. However, Justin will make it clear that he made his own choices.
Justin will think the love he’s found with Bonnie is worth fighting for and will push her to have faith that it’ll all work out.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Justin will hold out hope that he can still marry Bonnie when the time is right.
