Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview for the week of April 5-9 teases that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will open up to Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo).
Sami was finally cleared of Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) murder thanks to the time of death, so that’s a relief. Now Sami has time to dwell on the problems in her marriage – and she’s about to tell Lucas all about them.
Sami will admit that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) has finally made great progress in his recovery. However, she’ll also confess that things just aren’t the same between them since they reunited.
After Sami found out EJ was alive, she traveled the world looking for answers. Sami put so much time and energy into tracking EJ down because she truly thought he was the love of her life.
Once Sami was finally reunited with EJ, she sat patiently by his bedside and has done everything in her power to help him recover. Unfortunately, it seems EJ’s struggling with some emotional scars following that fight to get better.
The spark is gone, though it sounds like Sami has genuinely tried to rekindle it.
Days’ weekly preview video shows Sami telling Lucas that EJ doesn’t touch her anymore. Sami won’t seem to understand what she’s doing wrong or why EJ still has walls up. In response, Lucas will get irritated over EJ’s treatment of Sami and will quickly lash out.
“You’ve done everything you can for that man!” Lucas declares in DOOL’s latest promo. He’ll comfort Sami following her confession, so she’ll appreciate the familiarity between them.
There’s always been a deep connection between Lucas and Sami, so it won’t be long until renewed sparks fly.
After they lean in for a kiss, Lucas will smile and wonder what they’re doing. Sami will smile back and admit she doesn’t know. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sami will surrender to temptation and let passion erupt, so it seems she’ll go all the way with this Lucas betrayal.
Part of the preview clip says “E.J. who?” – and that’s certainly how Sami will feel once she’s caught up in this steamy scene with Lucas! Days spoilers state that Sami will cheat on EJ with her ex, so that’s a secret that’ll come back to bite her sooner than she thinks.
Spring preview info reveals that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will bust Sami and Lucas, so she’ll use that to her advantage in the coming weeks. We’ll pass along updates as other DOOL news pops up.
