Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of October 18-22 tease that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will search for devil proof while Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) is armed and ready. Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) will also have a plan to help Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth).
First, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will get a new mission that catches him off guard. Someone will approach Steve about finding Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), so he’ll team up with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) to get some answers.
EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will convince Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) to go on a do-over date with him, but their evening could take an annoying turn due to Steve and Kayla’s Kristen questions.
In the meantime, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will make a surprising decision. John will fully expect Marlena to stand with him against Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), but it looks like she’ll throw her full support behind the movie instead.
Of course, that’ll be the devil’s doing – and John will ultimately start to suspect that Marlena’s possessed. John will need some proof before he can make a decision on that, so he’ll get sneaky and search Marlena’s office.
Days spoilers say John will make a puzzling discovery that’ll bring him a step closer to devil evidence.
We’ll also see a confrontation between Marlena and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), who’ll be frustrated over being kept away from Doug Williams (Bill Hayes).
Possessed Marlena will realize Julie’s becoming a problem again and will decide to launch another attack.
As for Abe (James Reynolds), he’ll unsettle Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) by suggesting that Marlena should serve as their wedding officiant.
Marlena knows Paulina’s secrets, so the bride won’t love that idea. DOOL fans know there’s yet another reason to be concerned since the devil could make Marlena spill the beans!
After Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) gains Gwen Rizcech (Emily O’Brien) for a cellmate, Victor will try to help Justin and Xander.
Victor will hope to strike a deal for Xander and Justin’s release through a meeting with DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang).
That won’t solve Bonnie and Gwen’s problems, but they’d at least have more help if Justin and Xander were free to fight for them. Justin will manage to see Bonnie sooner or later, so he’ll offer a pep talk that comes in a tough moment.
Across town, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will tell Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) that she thinks the hooker story was bogus.
Abigail will suspect Gwen covered up the real reason Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowry) was able to blackmail her.
After Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) latest outburst, he’ll get some guidance from Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) regarding Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will pounce on the opportunity to make progress with Chloe, who’ll apparently want to move out of the Kiriakis mansion.
Days spoilers say Brady will push Chloe to come stay with him, so she may be tempted.
Over with Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), he’ll aim a gun at Carmine (Richard Stevens) and hope to eliminate this phony eyewitness one way or another. Carmine is the real murderer, so Jake will take drastic action to handle him.
Unfortunately, things will go awry when Abe gets involved in the mob mayhem. It’ll lead to Abe’s medical crisis and an urgent hospital trip before Jake gets arrested.
