Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview for the week of October 25-29 teases that Daddy Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will reach to Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) baby news – and dead Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will have an afterlife experience that leaves him in awe.
First, let’s talk about Ciara’s bun in the oven. After Ciara threw out her birth control and officially started trying for a baby with Ben, she thought that first round of lovemaking felt different.
Ben agreed before the devil swooped in with a storm and a pregnancy takeover plot – though possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) convinced Ben it was actually a good omen.
Although Ben’s still battling some concerns about his future child’s genes and the kind of father he’ll be, he’s trying to focus on the positives.
Ben really does like the idea of starting a family with Ciara – and he certainly wants to make his wife happy.
That’s why Ben will concentrate on pure joy after Ciara takes a pregnancy test and confirms she’s indeed expecting.
Ciara will surprise Ben at the pub when she reveals they’re having a baby, so he’ll scoop her in his arms and celebrate this special moment.
Of course, Days spoilers say Ben’s old insecurities are bound to creep in again later.
Ciara will discover she’s pregnant on Halloween night, so Ben might have another nightmare in the aftermath of her revelation. Regardless, something wicked this way comes!
DOOL’s weekly promo also highlights Abe’s medical crisis and his amazing journey into the great beyond. After Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) declares that Abe’s gone, he’ll have a vision of his late wife.
Lexie Carver will appear to Abe in the form of a ghostly recast and will present him with a difficult decision.
Abe will be invited to stay in the afterlife with Lexie or miraculously return to his friends and family members.
Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will talk about Abe’s 40 years in Salem – and the show will honor those 40 years in James Reynolds’ special anniversary episode on Monday, October 25.
Days fans will see a wonderful mix of flashbacks and some new scenes as Abe makes his choice. “I’ll be seeing you,” Abe says in DOOL’s promo clip.
Abe’s dressed in white and surrounded by light, so things will seem rather angelic with Lexie – that is until Abe chooses to go back into his body and come back to life.
