General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that an exciting comeback is on the way. Amanda Setton is set to return to her role as Brook Lynn Quartermaine, so let’s talk about all the details. Briana Lane did a fabulous job as a temporary recast, but she gladly stepped aside in November.
Now Setton’s ready to reclaim the role, so BLQ will officially return in March.
There’s been some confusion on social media about Setton’s first airdate back, so we’ll see if we can clear things up. SOD’s new issue for March 8 reveals Setton will return later in the month – meaning the month of March. However, it’s still February at the moment, so that led some fans to make the wrong assumption.
It’s indeed March when Setton will first shake things up again based on that info and what GH insiders are teasing. Of course, the big question on everyone’s mind is whether Brook Lynn will be pregnant upon her return.
As Lane’s stint as BLQ wrapped up, Brook Lynn took a pregnancy test out of her purse following a conversation with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). We have to believe GH writers were going somewhere interesting with that.
It’s possible General Hospital will drop the story, but we should note that Brook Lynn’s potential pregnancy was mentioned in 2021 preview info. GH fans will find out if Brook Lynn indeed has a bun in the oven – and it certainly looks like the answer is yes!
With that in mind, it presents some other questions about Brook Lynn’s return. Will Brook Lynn tell Valentin the truth about his child? Could Brook Lynn try to pass the baby off as someone else’s instead?
Regardless, Brook Lynn’s loved ones are bound to have big reactions to her pregnancy news – especially BLQ’s dad, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). Brook Lynn should have some shocking updates to deliver when she gets back, but the pregnancy bombshells should start with a baby bump.
That should bring questions about the father and total chaos if Brook Lynn comes clean about Valentin as the “baby daddy.”
If Brook Lynn tries to hide or deny the truth, that’ll bring another set of challenges. There’ll be some intriguing ways to go with a story like this, so stay tuned to ABC’s GH!
