General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) could get caught up in Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) upcoming mess. During the week of March 22-26, Nina will seek out Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) for a conversation, which no doubt means taking a trip to The Tan-O.
Nina wouldn’t want to make Phyllis fly to Port Charles again, so she should go to Phyllis this time around.
Later, Carly will become her own worst enemy once again – and Nina will change her mind about her plans. Then, General Hospital spoilers say Nina will have to make a huge decision.
It’s easy to fit all these puzzle pieces together and determine that Nina will find out Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is alive and battling amnesia.
It appears Carly will make a move that riles Nina up and convinces her to change her mind about relaying the Sonny survival news. As for this huge decision of Nina’s, she may decide that Carly doesn’t deserve to be reunited with Sonny.
Carly’s to blame for Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) death in Nina’s eyes – and now Carly’s the reason Nina can’t see Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
Since Nina can’t be with her daughter or grandson, she may not see why Carly should be with her husband either.
Of course, we have to believe there’s a reason why Nina and Ava have gotten so chummy lately. There’s more to this friendship than meets the eye. The real reason GH writers have been playing up this bond has likely been in preparation for this Sonny shocker.
Nina may want someone to confide in – and there’s no one better than Ava, who understands how hard it is to deal with the Corinthos clan. Ava recently gave Nina advice about how to tackle Carly and her crew, so Nina may need some advice about this Sonny situation.
Nina will at least want to get it off her chest eventually, and she may trust Ava considering she has a lot to lose if Sonny reenters the picture.
Ava may reel over Nina withholding something so massive, but Nina could easily remind Ava that Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) future is at stake.
Once Ava weighs her options, she should determine that she can’t risk Sonny coming home and taking Avery away from her.
There’s a good chance Ava and Nina will make a pact to keep Sonny’s survival under wraps, so they’ll probably go down together when the truth comes out.
This feels like a ticking time bomb that’s doomed to blow up in these allies’ faces! Nina and Ava should find themselves facing Carly’s fury as well as Sonny’s once his memories come back down the road.
