General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) may blow up Willow Chase’s (Katelyn MacMullen) marriage. It looks like Carly will discover Willow and Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) real feelings, so she may insist Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) should know the truth. Will Carly want to pave the way for Michael’s happiness with a big reveal?
Carly kept quiet about Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) fake affair with Chase, and we all know how well that turned out!
Sasha was so distraught over losing Michael that she got hooked on drugs and nearly died from an overdose. It just goes to show that keeping secrets – even with good intentions – can lead to heartbreaking consequences.
After Carly catches Michael and Willow in a close moment, she’ll wonder what’s going on between them.
Carly may not rest until she pries a full confession out of Willow, Michael or both. She may realize they’ve sacrificed their own romance to protect Chase while he recovers.
Of course, Carly could easily point out that Chase is going to be devastated. The longer this goes on, the worse things will be.
Carly should understand what Michael and Willow are trying to accomplish, but she may also push them to come clean – for Chase’s sake as well as the sake of their own chance at bliss.
Carly might argue that life is short and insist that love can be yanked away in an instant.
Carly has first-hand experience with this after Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) sudden presumed death.
Carly certainly won’t want Michael waiting around and pining for who knows how long. Her son is a huge priority for her – and GH fans know Carly just loves to meddle in her children’s lives!
Carly could decide to expose the truth to Chase herself, especially since she feels like she owes him for his part in keeping Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) away from Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
Then again, perhaps Carly’s pressure on Willow might be enough to convince her to confess.
Regardless, it’s dangerous for this secret to fall into Carly’s hands – and it indeed looks like that may be where the story’s headed.
Carly won’t want Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) holding this over Michael anymore and won’t want her son to be miserable either.
