General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will work to help Chloe Jennings (Phoebe Kuhlman) escape, but it looks like he’s going to get busted. The newly free nurse may offer Drew’s last hope at a Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri) reunion, so he may just have to hope that she’ll repay his kindness.
Drew was taken aback to finally see a friendly face and learned Chloe was also being held against her will.
That led to a plan forming that Drew hoped would get them both out of there. Drew noticed that Chloe wasn’t wearing handcuffs, which he thought gave her an advantage they could work with.
Chloe just had to get the guards to trust her first, so he handed over the pen he stole and let her pretend to rat him out over the escape attempt.
Drew probably wouldn’t have gotten very far like that anyway. What Drew needs most is probably a guard’s set of keys – and Chloe could soon be in the position to acquire that.
Chloe was indeed rewarded with some words of praise after she turned Drew in at his request.
There may be another opportunity or two along the way as Chloe continues to win the guards over and make them think she’s willing to stay in line.
In reality, GH spoilers say Drew will be the mastermind of a new escape plot for the two of them.
Now that Drew knows Chloe is there, he surely won’t leave her behind – especially not after they’ve teamed up like this.
During the week of September 13-17, Drew will work out the details of his escape plan and no doubt hope Chloe can help pull it off.
Unfortunately, it looks like this escape attempt will go awry. Chloe should indeed become a free woman – though she may get injured as she makes a break for it.
We know from a leaked script that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will ultimately head to Chloe’s American Embassy hospital room.
As for Drew, he may try to help the tortured woman he heard screaming – who is probably Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) – and the price for it.
Drew won’t want to leave her behind either, but this could cause a delay that leads to him getting caught while Chloe bolts.
Drew may have to hope Chloe lives to tell the tale and points someone in the right direction.
Nurse Chloe could be Drew’s best shot at reuniting with Scout, so let’s hope she can recover from her injuries and eventually offer some useful clues to Anna as well as Valentin.
