General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) could get dumped and become even more dangerous. Esme is essentially the new Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) and seems poised to wreak havoc after her inevitable breakup with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).
The couple to root for is obviously Spencer and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), whose sweet side can balance out Spencer’s mischievous tendencies.
Esme is even more of a schemer than Spencer is based on her recent actions.
Spencer was stunned and not happy at all about Esme going as far as torching Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) car.
Esme has no boundaries and is willing to sink to some pretty despicable levels since she was behind that planted Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) GH badge as well.
If Esme considers Trina to be real competition for Spencer, that could certainly put a target on Trina’s back.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) could also be at risk since Esme already seems to know way too much about her. There was plenty of tension during Joss and Esme’s first meeting, so that’s something to keep an eye on.
Of course, there’ll be more danger than ever if Spencer breaks Esme’s heart.
Esme might try to blackmail Spencer into staying together since she knows the stalker stunts he pulled. However, even the threat of exposure won’t be enough to save Spencer and Esme’s doomed romance – not permanently anyway.
Sooner or later, the stalker truth will come out – and any leverage Esme has will be gone. What will Esme do then?
Esme definitely seems to be a Nelle-ish type of character who’s capable of anything and her obsession with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is proof. We could see Esme go after revenge on Spencer and hurt the people he loves in the process.
Spencer will probably regret ever getting involved with Esme in the first place, especially if Trina, Josslyn or even Cameron Webber (William Lipton) wind up facing her vengeful wrath.
Esme is a real wildcard who’ll add some interest to the teen scene and shake things up, so stay tuned to see what else is brewing.
