General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, April 9 – Peter Locked Up – Ava’s Terrified Warning - Carly’s Promise to Jason

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, April 9, tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will stir up trouble when he pays a visit to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). At Anna’s house, Peter will corner her along with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Peter will be glad to confront Anna and Valentin together since it’s obvious they’re in cahoots on this Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) situation.

“You wouldn’t happen to know where she got that idea?” Peter asks in Friday’s GH preview video. Peter may bring up the fact that Gladys is becoming quite enamored with Valentin and is under the impression that he’s interested.

General Hospital spoilers say Peter will eventually make an offer, though it may turn out to be more of a threat!

Peter might argue that if Valentin and Anna back off, then Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will do his time and justice will be served. If not, Peter might warn that far worse could happen to good people.

As Anna and Valentin’s concerns intensify, they’ll decide they can’t just let a monster like Peter roam the streets.

General Hospital spoilers say Peter will be held captive in the basement, so he should be knocked out and locked up down there for the sake of the innocent. This clearly won’t go over well with Peter, who’ll get more specific with his threats in the week ahead.

Peter has made arrangements to go after someone Anna cares about in the event something like this happened, so a dilemma’s on the way. There could be dangerous consequences if Anna and Valentin keep Peter locked up too long!

In the meantime, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will wonder if his dad’s having second thoughts about the family dinner that’s coming up.

Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will still be having a rough time due to the paternity results and Jackie Templeton’s (Kim Delaney) old betrayal with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).

Nevertheless, Gregory will be willing to try moving forward for Chase’s sake. They’ll once again establish that Gregory will always be Chase’s father, no matter what the DNA results say.

Since we know Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) had a hand in the paternity test outcome, Chase and Gregory should get good news about the real results down the road.

Until then, Finn will have another bonding session with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). “Please tell me it gets easier,” Finn begs in Friday’s GH preview clip.

Whether Finn’s talking about his breakup, his family drama or perhaps a situation with Violet Finn (Jophielle Love), Elizabeth will be there to help.

It makes sense that Finn may confide about Violet’s questions and sadness over her daddy’s split from Anna. Liz has plenty of experience with kids and may insist Finn’s doing the best he can under the circumstances.

General Hospital spoilers say Elizabeth and Finn will keep growing closer, so a romance seems to be brewing for these two.

As for Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), he’ll have an interesting conversation with Laura Collins (Genie Francis). It looks like Laura may question Scott about Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and turn this encounter into an awkward one.

Scott may admit Liesl got him to see that Peter’s to blame for Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) death, not Jason. Of course, Scott may not be keen on sharing the details of the steamy night that followed!

Meanwhile, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will have reservations after Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) delivers updates on his discussion with Cyrus. Ava will have a bad feeling about this arrangement, but Nikolas will insist he’s willing to make a deal with the devil.

Keeping Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) safe has to be Nikolas’ priority.

Although Ava will offer a terrified warning, it’ll be too late to back out of the deal now. Across town, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will open up to Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) about being waitlisted at her top university.

Joss will think she has to prove she belongs there, but Jax may remind his daughter of all her accomplishments and argue she’ll be fine no matter what.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will visit Jason and promise that she’s getting him out of Pentonville. Carly will be willing to do whatever it takes, but she’s going to need a little more time.

Jason will just hope chaos doesn’t erupt while he’s stuck in the slammer and unable to protect the Corinthos clan. He may also have some fears about Carly making a bigger mess by provoking Cyrus, so he’ll no doubt warn her to be careful.

General Hospital spoilers say some exciting drama’s still to come as Jason fights for his freedom. CDL will have all the sizzling General Hospital spoilers, updates and news you need, so make us your go-to source.
