General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, May 21, tease that Sean Donely’s (John Reilly) funeral will bring a dangerous Ireland mystery in this special episode, which will serve as a tribute to the late John Reilly.
Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) will search for some security footage as part of that mystery – and she won’t do it alone!
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will make it to Sean’s funeral along with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), Mac Scorpio (John J. York), Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
Everyone will gather to say their goodbyes and catch up with Sean’s daughter, Annie Donely (Caitlin Reilly).
Tik Tok star Caitlin Reilly will make her daytime debut as an Annie recast – and she’ll be featured quite heavily in this episode. She’s also Reilly’s real-life daughter, so it’ll be nice having her play Sean’s grown child on the show as well.
Annie will open up about her last good memory of Sean, who suffered from dementia before his death. She’ll reveal a significant ring Sean gave her at Christmas and will explain that the stone’s been known to attract magnets. We’ll see if that ends up being a crucial clue in this mystery or not!
Regardless, Anna will speak with Felicia alone and insist they can’t get past this until they go through it. Felicia won’t know if she can forgive Anna – presumably for refusing to see the truth about Peter August (Wes Ramsey) for so long and putting Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) in danger.
However, what happens in Ireland will ultimately tie in with all Peter’s drama in Port Charles.
Robin will wonder where some security footage is stored, so she’ll be working hard to help crack a case. Robert will also corner Annie and insist Sean’s case files may hold the key.
There could be some info related to Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) poison plot of the past that could help cure Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in the present.
Laura will give someone a call and admit it’s so good to hear that person’s voice. Since Laura won’t have much of a chance to speak to Tiffany Hill (Shannon Wyatt) at the service, she may call Annie’s mom a follow-up chat.
Tiffany will be busy spreading Sean’s ashes in a village, but she may take the time to talk to Laura and reflect on this difficult loss.
Unfortunately, Laura will go missing – and others mysterious disappearances will occur as well. A new promo for Friday shows Annie declaring, “They’re picking us off one by one and any one of us could be next!”
It also looks like Robert will be attacked, so Annie will insist this is all about her dad as they try to figure out what’s happening.
Back in PC, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) will quiz Maxie after being summoned for an ASAP meeting.
Bobbie will wonder why it was so urgent that she came over tonight, so Maxie will explain it’s go time! She’ll need some help as she gets ready to dupe “Chloe Jennings” (Kimberly J. Brown) and give birth soon after.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) will drop her glass as she looks horrified. We know a surprise guest is set to appear on Friday’s GH episode.
Could it be a ghostly Faison sighting that spooks Monica? That’s one possibility to consider since there’ll be a lot of Faison-related mayhem going on, but we’ll see how things play out.
