General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, November 12, teases that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will have a big problem with Austin Gatlin Holt’s new friend while Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) demands scam answers. Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will also push Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) to discuss the truth when it comes to the kiss they shared.
At The Savoy on Friday’s show, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will stand against any threats to his business. He won’t know who might’ve put Linc Brown (Dan Buran) up to offering a new act or why, but he’ll stay on guard.
After Curtis talks to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) about protecting the club, “Marshall” (Robert Gossett) aka the mystery man will finally show his face.
Curtis will no doubt demand to know who this guy really is and what kind of game he’s playing.
However, Curtis won’t realize a shocker’s coming that’ll change his world forever. This mystery man is likely Curtis’ dad, who supposedly had a heart attack and died when he was just a young boy.
Whatever the case, “Marshall” is set to reveal his true identity within the next episode or two.
In the meantime, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will be on a mission to make things right with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Giving up the Cassadine name and fortune may be a nice start to redemption in Sonny’s eyes.
Even so, Spencer really blew it and will have more work to do when it comes to winning Sonny’s trust back. Spencer will wonder how he can show Sonny’s he’s a changed man, but sometimes only time can prove that.
Sonny will guide Spencer toward achieving redemption while Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) shakes things up at the gallery. Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) is way too close to Spencer as far as Esme’s concerned.
That’s why Esme will barge in Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) place of business and demand some answers.
Esme will want to know if Trina intends to steal her boyfriend, but Trina won’t think Spencer’s worth the time – at least not in his current state.
Trina may argue that she’s simply been trying to give Spencer some tough love for his own good. She can’t help it if she cares about Spencer despite his mistakes.
Trina wants Spencer to move beyond his spoiled brat mentality – and he took a step in the right direction by rejecting his trust fund and vowing to make his own way.
Of course, Esme won’t have the same perspective. She pretended to support Spencer’s decision, but she’ll really be upset with Trina for trying to Spencer into some sort of poor do-gooder.
While Esme and Trina face off, Maxie will have questions about why Austin is so friendly with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs).
Austin could ask Maxie questions about her strange connection to Kip (Artie O’Daly) the bartender as well.
Austin caught Maxie offering money for Kip’s medical bills following that exuberant “baby daddy” performance, so she may land in a tight spot if Austin gets too inquisitive.
There’s also Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to worry about – and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will indeed worry he’s going to keep seeking the “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) truth until he finds it.
Other GH spoilers say Valentin will rev up the pressure. It looks like Valentin will try to pry the real story out of Gladys. He’ll advise against getting on his bad side and wonder what kind of scam Brook Lynn pulled on him.
Gladys should downplay everything for now, but things will change when she figures out “Paulie” was just an actor Brook Lynn hired.
Look for Gladys to make that discovery on Monday or perhaps toward the end of Friday’s show.
As for Robert, he’ll shut down Olivia’s attempt to describe their kiss as meaningless. Robert will actually think it meant a lot – though things may not be quite as they seem here.
The truth is Olivia had too much to drink and got carried away. Robert may argue that Olivia wouldn’t have been spiraling if it hadn’t been for her relationship with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) falling apart.
Perhaps Robert will suggest that’s what their kiss meant or even play mind games to make Olivia see she still wants to be married to Ned.
Regardless, Ned and Olivia have a family outing coming up with Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) during the week of November 15-19, so that’ll bring a chance to get their marriage back on track.
