General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, October 22, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have a proposition for Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) while Laura Collins (Genie Francis) delivers some last-minute Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) orders. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will also make an immunity demand, so let’s discuss what’s coming up.
Just before Spencer’s arraignment, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will show up.
There’ll be some tension between Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) – at least on Joss’ side since she doesn’t buy Esme’s act for a second.
However, Cameron will do his best to keep the peace. As Esme smiles, Cam will think it looks like they’re all in agreement.
None of them want Spencer to land in prison, so perhaps that’s what they’ll be on the same page about.
As for Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), he’ll have some updates to pass along – presumably from Laura. “She was very clear about what should happen today,” Kevin tells Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) sternly on Friday’s preview video.
Spencer has been hoping his grandma might help him, so maybe Laura will indeed come through with a last-minute save. Laura can pull strings as the mayor, so that’s important to keep in mind.
No matter how all this plays out, Spencer is poised to score his freedom – though he’ll have to get a job and pay his own way soon.
Next, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will flip out over the deal Michael just struck with the Pennsylvania Attorney General candidate.
“Who are you trying to convince you’re doing the right thing?!” Willow demands to know in Friday’s GH preview clip.
Willow will feel like Michael’s just going to make a bigger mess if he tries to have Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) thrown behind bars.
Willow may wonder if that’s the kind of father Michael wants to be to Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Caleb and Kyler Ends) – the kind of dad who cuts shady deals to lock up Grandma!
Over with Sonny, he’ll have a proposition for Ava to consider. Since Sonny decided to give Ava some extra time with Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), he’ll hope Ava will do something for him in return.
Sonny will eventually make an offer for Charlie’s Pub – though it looks like Nina’s about to make a similar pitch.
Both Nina and Sonny should have their eye on the bar for Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy), who still wants to be her own boss and doesn’t see much left for her back in Nixon Falls.
The easy solution here is for Phyllis to gain a fresh start running Charlie’s Pub, so this could become a project Nina and Sonny team up on. As for Ava, she’ll do some scheming using the bar that’s up for grabs!
Meanwhile, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will put Victor through a major grilling session.
Victor will actually be impressed with Robert’s interrogation tactics, but he’ll hold out for an immunity deal that’ll leave him in the clear.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will listen to a proposal on Friday’s episode, so that may tie in with Victor as he works to score his release.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will also get some good news when they arrive in Greece.
Peter August (Wes Ramsey) took Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) alive, so Jason may argue that’s a great sign.
There’ll be some awkward moments as Britt and Jason encounter Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), but it won’t be long until Dante and Sam head home.
Jason and Britt will be left to tackle the rest of their Obrecht search by themselves, but they should make some progress.
