General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) might help Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) with her bucket list. Jason could easily grant some wishes following Britt’s diagnosis and kick off this couple’s new adventure together.
After Britt found out she indeed had the marker for Huntington’s, it left her feeling pretty hopeless.
However, Jason was quick to point out that Britt could have 30 years rather than the six good months Britt first suggested. Britt can’t dwell on the unknown when she could be out there living her life.
Once Jason explained his perspective, Britt understood that she had to make the most of each day. That’s something Jason could help Britt as they settle into a new Port Charles groove.
This might be an excellent opportunity for Britt to consider some unfulfilled dreams and let Jason help her accomplish them.
Knocking items off Britt’s bucket list might be a great way for Britt and Jason to bond. GH writers will no doubt want to show Jason and Britt as they continue to fall in love.
They’ll need plenty of cute scenes to make that happen, so a bucket list adventure seems like an intriguing strategy.
It would make sense under the circumstances, especially since Jason’s helping Britt come to terms with her diagnosis and the fact that she has to live life to the fullest – no matter how long she has left.
Of course, Britt could indeed have decades before she shows any real signs of debilitating symptoms.
There’s even a chance Britt will learn there was some mistake and that she doesn’t have the Huntington’s marker after all. Anything is possible on soap where test results are wrong all the time!
Regardless, Britt’s learning the lesson of living in the moment, so a bucket list type of storyline would fit here. It doesn’t have to be anything morbid; it can just be about having some fun and forgetting about whatever death countdown Britt was envisioning before.
