General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) may be the one to discover dying Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and freak over this bloody stairwell find. During the week of May 31-June 4, GH will continue to unravel the mystery of how Peter wound up taking that tumble. They’ll ultimately reveal who shoved Peter and caused the fall, but we have to consider who might find Peter, too.
Laura will make a disturbing discovery by midweek, June 2, so that certainly seems to fit here. Peter obviously isn’t a well-liked man around Port Charles, but Laura is a good person and wouldn’t just leave him to die.
That may be precisely why GH writers have someone kind and decent like Laura find Peter instead of one of Peter’s other less scrupulous enemies.
Will Laura stumble across Peter and see that he’s taken a major blow to the head? Laura may immediately call for help and try to get a medical team working on Peter ASAP.
It looks like Peter will live to tell the tale, so Laura might face some backlash for helping Peter as a result. After all, Peter’s death would benefit plenty of people – including the mysterious person who’s to blame for that push.
Peter killed Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and is willing to let Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) go down for it, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Peter’s crimes.
Fans know Peter also ordered Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) downed plane and committed tons of other heinous acts.
There are several Port Charles residents who would like to see Peter dead, but it doesn’t look like his death’s really going to happen anytime soon.
Instead, Laura may leap into action after her disturbing discovery and make sure Peter has a fighting chance to survive. It’d go against Laura’s nature to just walk away from Peter while he was stuck bleeding out.
