General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) may help Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) connect the “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) dots. Will Leo spill Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) cryptic conversation to help the puzzle pieces click into place?
GH fans know Leo likes Austin and has taken the opportunity to seek him out before.
Austin has befriended Leo and may be poised to have another chat with him, especially now that Leo has officially been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
It’s easy to imagine Austin wanting to check in once Leo’s adjusting to new strategies and changes.
Of course, Leo is still the same observant, intelligent kid he’s always been.
Leo’s communication skills may be a bit unusual, but he’s a good listener – as evidenced by the way he piped up about being able to spell when Chase spelled out “naked” in front of him.
Leo was listening closely while Brook Lynn and Chase were babysitting him on the December 28 episode, which is why Chase and BLQ spoke using a superhero code.
However, the cryptic hints they offered could still be enough to tip Austin off to the truth if he gets updates.
Leo overheard Brook Lynn talk about being in limbo while the bad guy was out of commission. There was also talk about how Brook Lynn hoped the villain would retire forever.
Chase mentioned the heroic sacrifice Brook Lynn would have to make if that day came, so there’s the potential for Leo to have picked up on enough to spill something.
Austin may be confused at first, but he could get some clues that come together in the end.
Leo might mention something about listening when grown-ups think he’s not paying attention.
If Leo repeats everything he heard to Austin, it could help the doc on his path to figuring out that “Bailey” is actually Louise.
It just seems like there was a reason the writers had Leo listening in – and a reason they proved he was paying attention rather than just playing nearby.
Leo’s inclusion in that scene could end up being pretty important, so we’ll see where things go from here.
