General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) love life is at a turning point, so we have to ask: Is Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) a better match for Dante than Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco)? Some might say a true love “Lante” reunion is needed, especially since Dante’s fresh start couple attempt with Sam seems to be failing.
It was disappointing when Lulu was written out before she had a chance to get her relationship with Dante back on track.
Plenty of “Lante” supporters felt cheated since they’d waited so long to see Dante and Lulu reunite. Lulu thankfully wasn’t killed off, so GH could bring her out of the coma she’s stuck in at any moment.
After Sam and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) split, General Hospital quickly offered two new pairings for fans to weigh in on. Jason and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) arguably work well as a couple, but there’s just not as much steaminess from Sam and Dante.
They’re great as friends, but there’s something missing when it comes to the possibility of a “Sante” romance.
Do you really envision Dante and Sam as being some epic love story – some fantastic couple that’ll stand the test of time? I
t’s just hard to see that happening, so Sam and Dante’s relationship almost feels like a failure in progress.
General Hospital would be wise to start plotting Lulu’s comeback and set the stage for her to recapture Dante’s heart.
Of course, it’s nice that Dante and Sam have been able to lean on each other during this difficult period for both of them.
GH actually needs more strong friendships, so most of us aren’t opposed to Sam and Dante remaining solid pals. However, they do give off a vibe that’s more friendly than sizzling.
Sam and Dante also share siblings, so that’s another reason why they’re better off in non-romantic territory. Not to mention Dante’s storyline with Lulu felt incomplete after the way the writers let things end.
Lulu and Dante could be a great couple to root for again if Emme Rylan returns for a brand-new chapter.
