General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, November 8 Update – Britt’s Only Way Off Cassadine Island – Sonny’s Gift – Sam’s Good News

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, November 8, teases that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will learn there’s only one way off Cassadine Island according to Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also offer a gift while Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) gets good news, so some great stuff’s coming up on the ABC soap.

Britt will remain Peter’s captive on Cassadine Island, but he’ll offer her a way out – the only way as far as he’s concerned! Peter will insist they’re family and will want to reach an understanding with his half-sister.

Britt will demand to see Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), but Peter will insist she’s resting comfortably and will want to strike this deal with Britt first.

If what Peter asks for involves turning against Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Britt may have to give him a hard pass.

Of course, Peter might point out that he can’t guarantee Liesl’s survival if Britt doesn’t cooperate. He’ll pressure Britt to do exactly what he asks, so she’ll have to make some difficult decisions.

As for Jason, he’ll have a chance to talk to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) once he’s in a more normal state of mind.

While the activation is dormant, Drew will be cuffed and thrown in the same cell or basement as Jason. It’s frustrating for Drew to go on these killer missions and wake up with memory gaps, but that’s what his conditioning is doing to him.

Jason will think there’s a way to stop Peter’s reign of terror and hopefully get a grip on Drew’s situation. He’ll want to make sure Drew gets home to Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri), but that’ll mean working together on a new plot and taking quite a gamble.

As for Sam back in Port Charles, she’ll receive some good news. Sam will get reassurance on something, so there may be some info on Drew’s survival.

Perhaps there’ll be word on a Drew sighting that fills Sam’s heart with hope again. Sam was worried about what she might have to tell Scout, but her worries may start to fade somewhat.

Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will also have a chat with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) about Sonny’s return and the adjustment period that’s brought.

Carly is obviously thrilled to have Sonny back, but Diane will assume Carly misses when she controlled Sonny’s organization.

GH fans will recall how Carly stepped up at the five families meeting. She was a pro at acting large and in charge, but that also brought a lot of stress and fear.

Carly may confess she misses the power in a way, but things are certainly easier now that Sonny’s back in the driver’s seat.

Ms. Wu (Lydia Look) will meet with Sonny, who’ll be taken aback over a turn their business discussion takes. Sonny is also poised to offer a generous gift, so Ms. Wu may be on the receiving end.

Since Sonny now has control of the entire Novak organization, perhaps he can spare some for the Wu family. It’s the least Sonny can do since Ms. Wu was pivotal in saving Jason and Carly from that car bomb.

Next, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will remain fixated on her cabin vacation idea.

Esme will have another manipulative chat with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and hope his relationship with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is on the verge of being strained.

Esme’s been subtly pressuring Cam and Joss to hit the sheets, but they may not quite be ready for that.

Trying to raise the stakes of their relationship too soon could end in disaster – and that’s no doubt what Esme is counting on.

In the meantime, Esme will worry Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) has caused a different disaster. She’ll be upset with Spencer for rejecting the Cassadine name, fortune, prince status and anything else that could make him a wealthy man again.

When Esme realizes Trina Robinson’s (Sydney Mikayla) guidance prompted this move, she’ll be even angrier.

Esme won’t like hearing about all the connecting Trina and “Victor” did before her Port Charles arrival – nor will she like Spencer’s continued crush on Trina.

Trina has been dishing out some harsh words of wisdom, but Spencer appreciates having someone to give him a good kick in the pants and show him what needs to be done.

As for Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), he’ll feel like he did what needed to be done, too. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) turned down the pardon deal, but Nikolas sought one for her anyway.

After Alexis updates Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), Nikolas will arrive expecting gratitude.

Alexis won’t exactly give Nikolas that since she didn’t ask him to do this. She’ll have no choice but to roll with Nikolas’ actions, but she won’t allow herself to feel indebted to Nikolas in any way.

Nikolas will let Alexis know that his son disowned him, so Alexis won’t blame Spencer under the circumstances.

Alexis will make it clear that she urged Spencer not to turn into his father, so Nikolas will think Alexis played a role in Spencer’s latest outburst.

However, it was Trina who really got through to Spencer and made him see this was the right road for him. Spencer should change his mind sooner or later, but he’ll focus on living a Nikolas-free life for now.

General Hospital spoilers say Spencer picked a hard path, but he’ll hope it makes him a better man.
